It was all the turkeys and the raccoons.

Ill bet it was ALL RACCOONS.  They are THUGS.  End of story.

We have lots of wild turkeys around here and they are peaceful.

If the coons could give us the middle finger, they would.

Yeah3

No destruction. I removed all the things. I think they were thirsty the other night...so they got into the hummingbird feeder...which means baby raccoons hopped up on a lot of sugar. You know what happens when toddlers eat a lot sugar.

The turkeys are causing the damage to my garden beds. They scratch them up and wallow around to make themselves a comfortable bed.

I took *truss plates and wrapped them spike out around the trunk. It worked instantly!
I'll get a pic tomorrow.
It's like I have a Punk Japanese Maple tree now..

I worked for wild burds unlimited, and you can put the feeders on a pole, with a racoon baffle at the right height, and that well stops the pests. They also sell bearpoles, and you lift the feeders up around 14 feet via a winch, and then lower it when filling/cleaning. Puts the yums up where the birds are, and doesn't attract pests.

I'll get a pick of what I did with the pole mounted bird feeder that worked perfectly.

Those plates I posted are on a tree trunk that is only about eighteen inches high.

I tried yelling out the window at them.

They ignored me.

Next time, I'll try English.
