We toss all kinds of food out for the critters.

At times, it seems the animals around here eat better than the people. Troll2

Yes. That is the actual agent of destruction.

It could've been better. It was a surprise seeing her that early in the evening and I didn't have time to change settings. All I could really do was lower my shutter speed to compensate for the low light.

You have to 'make a deal' with the animals first.

I've planted heaps of trees & bushes in my backyard & the neighbourhood cats thought it was their playground.
Sick of finding evidence of a bird kill, I did something similar.
Sitting in my yard, I started visualising cats being slowly tortured & dismembered by unseen forces for 30 mins.
Repeated this for several days. It's called creating a thought form. That's what Mystics employed to protect tombs. Like the Tutankhamen curse.

I've since seen cats running along the fence but not in my yard. They'll stop, look in my yard as if they're intending to jump in, then they'll look startled before running off. Chuckle

It was the squirrels turn that day to have a bad day. Lord knows those little red bastages are the worst. One actually gnawed a hole in my garage wall. Let's just say, he was dealt with. I don't want to hurt your feelings on this matter on the exact way the red squirrels path to the light was made, don'tchuknow?
