We are so saddened and heartbroken but realize this was more merciful than making her suffer. Tonight will be the first night we will be sleeping without her. ~cm ✡

Ever since I watched Home Alone Lost in NY when I was younger

Most people who don't live here in NYC or never even visited have negative things to say, but NYC is actually a great place to live. There are many different and diverse cultures and you know what that means... Great food! Chuckle

1. Get minimum of 30 acres of land up north in the wilderness that has a beautiful stream with cascades that holds runs of salmon and steelhead (and build a cozy cabin, which is on it's way, I'm very close to getting all of this)

2. get married and make little winter steelheaders

3. go to Oktoberfest in Germany

I'm thinking....  Scratchinghead  Bucket list....  Scratchinghead Can not do the one I used to have a long time ago and I guess I've never made another one. So let's see...  what do I want to do I haven't already done? Something to strive for.... What do I want to do.... Well....

The only thing I have left I really want to do is go to Key West and go camping out on those little islands for a month or two, year maybe. I need a tan anyway. Might even paint my toenails. Hang out at Margaritaville and drink me a margarita or two and eat a cheeseburger. Strawberry or something as I don't really like those green margaritas.  Chuckle

No computer. Lots of books to read in the shade. Maybe some card games (cribbage) and chess? Cuban sandwiches with chips. Cool nights under the stars. Sleeping in the heat of the day. It's the life for me. After a month, I'd be over it and looking for some running warm/hot water and news of what the world's done while I frittered away the days on the beach and spent some nights at the club listening to the bands and drinking frozen, virgin strawberry margaritas and pina coladas. Maybe some white russians. Loved those white russians. Interesting because they are made of stuff I don't normally like. Coffee liquor and white milk. But I love those dang things. Taste so good. Hangover so bad. Wink   Chuckle

That sounds like fun at this time. It seems like it's been 100 years since I went out and listened to a band somewhere. Played some pool and drank a beer. Sat around and played poker with dimes and nickels... Oh well, I would not want to go to the popular places anyway. Too crowded and I don't like to wait on my drinks. But small little hole in the walls are nice sometimes. Character to them that the popular places don't seem to have. Not so much glitter and glamor but they tend to have cold beer and a coin pool table. Be nice to hang for a few days and play some pool, drink a few beers.

Dreaming is good for you. Seems I haven't done that in the last few years. Thanks for asking....  Weednana
