^^ FACT!

No kidding, if you want a simple browser that blocks unwanted crap, try "Brave". I'm using Firefox now. I have mixed reviews on its latest iteration. There is also Opera, its decent as well.

Good luck and have fun... V6sRZf4

Yea Brave blocks so much, incredible and they have a London office, so that's good.

Open Finder->Applications->Utilities->Keychain Access

Select passwords on left
scroll to find account you need password for (or use search box top right of window)

Locate account you need password for
double click that line or account you need password for and in Attributes window that opens enable show password (will require your laptop login password)

Repeat for all passwords you need, writing them down as you go...

You are welcome,

I'm using Opera on my laptop and so far so good. I like the layout and speed dial most used bookmarks thing. Free VPN installed too but i hate they use Goggle... Many times i just use Bing though for searches. I used to like Firefox but it used too many resources on my old desktop and eventually would slow things down to ridiculous speeds. Firefox seemed committed to safety though. Opera is fast. Yeah3 I have Safari on the tablet and has some nice features. But i'm looking into others...

One thing at least on my Apple stuff is that they won't save your Apple password, Safari saves every other password if you want but not your Apple ID one. You need to write it down to use on Itunes for updates, etc. I guess you could store it in a password file but i just wrote it down as well as a few others like my router one. Used that paper many times... Of course you can change it but that's a problem for the OP.

Apple tech support isn't what it used to be. But I'm grateful they will chat or even call you to help with an old machine (MBP 2011) that's waaaay out of warranty/ AppleCare.
One guy I got actually locked me out of my own computer that I bought new 7 years before. It took a supervisor to get me back in. He'd put a note on the case number that he thought it was stolen (!!???)

I'm pretty pissed at them. They have FUBARed the Macs beyond recognition (at least for me) AND raised the prices on top of that. DH and I were going to split a new Air, but not now.

Thank you, managed to access the most important pw's, have written them down it's not many.  The pw that it had listed wasn't accepted by The Fringe, so have applied for a new one. Some of the very old one's weren't listed either, so they must still be on my other computer.

So I changed my browser blocking tracking and ads. Most impressed so far.

Only thing is one of the airlines won't let me search for flights.
