I'm not too hungry these days, the heat takes my appetite away.

Mmmmmm  Arby's

And yeah, the heat will do that to ya.

Too damn hot to cook.  Deli meat sandwich time with a bag of chips;  (Cheetos and Funyuns are my favs)  Yeah3

Nom nom deli meat. I could eat that all week. I love funyons and cheetos.

And beer.

Too much work when it's 107 in the shade,   Winter can't get here fast enough.

Go to a local grocery store that sells whole or quartered BBQ rotisserie chicken, then throw together some Betty crocker's mashed taters, and dice up some cucumbers. Then you're good 2 go. I didn't BBQ this chicken, I did make the mashed taters and the cucumber salad.

I have a pretty good grocery store near by on the way back from work where I can buy this stuff if I'm too tired to make it myself prior or after work.

Anyhow, it can be done my friend!

My contribution to the big family tailgate that I opted out of tonight. (Royals game...had a block of about 30 or so tickets.)
Pigs on a blanket.
Corn muffin batter with a little smoky sausage in the middle. Wife said the kids loved them.

As soon as I get to where I can eat again (this soup.and salad and oatmeal and grits don't count). Ok, the grits count.....anyway....hoping to camp out at the lake and drive over to James A Reed to go fishing. (https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-natur...mes-mem-wa).
Have a couple of fun new camp.meals I want to try out.

Maybe Tomorrow-Sunday if I can talk Mrs PRF in to it. She won't even let me know the lawn yet. (Like I put up a fight about that one)

Anyone have any nifty camp food recipes that aren't the usual, but not too fancy (all day to make} kind of thing, I would dig some new ones. Apple dump cake is a given.
