Well had some time so I took inventory of my supplies.

Sitting at:
387,180 kcal in canned goods.
197,000 kcal sealed drum rice
109,090 kcal in dry goods
40,000 kcal in frozen meat (estimate)

120,000 kcal in MREs
25,000 kcal in emergency ration bars

350 bottles of water
150 stored gallons of water
100 gallon worth of Gatorade mix (good Amazon deal at the time lol)

Ammos good.....exception being 3030 apparently I let myself get down to 145 rnds.

Firearms all cleaned.

Bug out bags are ready.

Medicine stores are better than one could hope for.

At least I won't starve bahaha.

Whenever i see the abbreviation kcal, i automatically think it means x1000 calories. As in, i often mix up 20kcal to mean 20,000 calories, instead of 20 calories, which is correct, right?

Sorry kcal is just the proper scientific term.

It stands for the energy created when the good is burned in a special machine.

My freezer crapped out and I have been cooking meat night and day.

No one should have this much meat all at once. 1dunno1

I have over 15 lbs of dried venison jerky now. No BS.
I butchered those deer myself! I had to cook all the backstraps, roasts (shoulders,neck and butts), loins butterflied, and then ALL THAT GROUND.... My God!

That would have lasted me a long time. Bummed.

Oh well... I am just dealing with it. The jerk came out crazy good. It all did.

Any good venison recipes out there?? Chuckle

I have whole beef tenderloins too...

I have wrist rockets converted to fire broad head arrows and wasp spray three cans.

Other than that a big ass garden. I will fight to the death. I'm good....

I'm looking for a new unit but, other people snatched them up locally! I don't like to re-freeze meat. I would be damned if I wasn't going to jerk that meat... Chuckle it is done... There was simply too much to eat before it would go bad and after going through the PIA of skinning and butchering it... I just couldn't let it.

I will replace it (the meat) eventually. It was a lot of meat. All kinds.
