'US Wants Terrorists to Stay in Idlib', Russia and Turkey Agree on Deconflication Buffer Zone
It sounds like comedy.

Quote:Turkey has sent convoys of troops to reinforce its presence in Syria's province of Idlib, the only remaining terrorist stronghold in the country, according to a report by Haaretz. The reinforcements come despite Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar's recent warnings against a military solution.
[...]
"We are working with Russia, Iran and other allies to bring peace and stability and to stop a humanitarian tragedy," Akar said, according to Anadolu.

This latest CrossTalk is good as far as it goes.

Peter Lavell like Hannity disses CT but sadly it's the only way to explain Trump's Syrian policy because nothing else does.

We know Trump has sent in two missions in response to "Assad's" "chemical" attacks.

But the first produced no damage nor casualties and the second included a warning to Russia hours before it happened.

He's not really trying, in other words.

He's paying lip service.

Someone he wants to keep in his side for now, is wanting him to destroy Syria or whatever or whoever is in it, for their own ends.

And the only possible party in that equation is Israel.

Q has said they are saving Israel for last.

And we know both Trump and Bannon are Sun Tzu practitioners if not masters.

Keep your enemies close.

It's the only thing to me that explains it.

But of course, Lavell doesn't go there. But this is worth watching, he normally has good guests, as you know.

The sudden shift of focus is remarkable. At first we saw a strong emphasis on "Assad intends to use chemical weapons in Idlib" -- but now the topic at hand is "any offensive on the civilian people in Idlib". First of all, the Syrian Army or the Russians never planned an attack on civilians in Idlib -- the brainwashing in Nikki Haley's statement is obvious.

Quote:Haley also discussed what took place in U.N. Security Council meetings held this week to address the situation in Idlib.

"The sternest warnings came down from most members of the Security Council telling them that not just chemical weapons would be addressed by the United States and our allies, but any offensive on the civilian people in Idlib was going to be dealt with," she said.

I checked the map -- this Turkish observation point is located at the Southern tip of the Idlib province -- actually it's even a bit outside -- on the main road between Hama and Khan Shaykhun. The location seems to be of strategic importance, it's the entry point into the Idlib province from the South.

edit: see southfront video below in #320

Roamer, it's more than likely a 'look out' post rather than a simple observation post. So as to alert their proxy henchmen of an impeding attack from Syrian Govt troops.

Yep, as the name suggests, an "observation point" or "look out post" ...
the difference is that the Turkish Army uses it to observe the Syrian Army instead of observing the terrorists ...

I just noticed that the map, the location of that observation point mentioned in my post above (Murak) and the location of recent clashes between the Syrian Army and the terrorists in Al-Tamanah are all shown in this short video from southfront:
