Hi there twee, I know you folks have your Thanksgiving on a different date than ours but, happy Thanksgiving to ya.

Oh, and I have a question..

I know, you've told me many times, over and over that, you have no issue with Jews. But, that statement of yours just says it's not the case. Now, short of calling you a liar, which I wouldn't do, I figure, something else must be at work here. What could it be?

I had the usual Psych stuff in college, nothing extra ordinary but, it got me thinking. Maybe twee is in some kind of state of denial about this Jew stuff. Maybe, twee really thinks he doesn't have a problem with Jews. Maybe, it's some kind of deep rooted behavior construct from his childhood, something instilled in him by a parent or organization? Well, I'm just not qualified to do anything more than guess on these matters. But, you may ask others on here or, on the other forums you frequent.. if they detect this pattern of denial in your posts regarding Jews. I'll bet, others have noticed it too.

You may want to talk to someone about this. Just a suggestion..

Anyway, i'm sure we'll trade posts before Christmas but, if not, a Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Can you give us the nuts and bolts, @KOMMA
or anyone. Is this a general election/what are
you voting for? Thought you just elected Johnson,
or maybe he was appointed? Are you voting for
PM and MPs? Heartflowers

Good morning @Verity it really is a constitutional crisis and our democracy is in crisis too.

David Cameron handed it over to Theresa May, Tory membership didn't get to vote for her or choose the PM.

Theresa May forced to step down, Boris Johnson was voted in by the Tory membership.

Tories have used BREXIT to force the electorate to keep voting them into parliament.

David Cameron 2 elections.

Referendum.

Teresa May 1 election.

Now Boris Johnson election.

The thing is Boris could "lose" his seat if there is a swing in his area. If he does then the Tories would have to choose who is going to be leader of their party.

This is what is known as a GENERAL ELECTION, it means the whole of the UK vote for a local MP, then the party with the most MPs forms a government.

In some areas people have more choice than I do in my area. If I vote then I can only vote for a Tory because the three that oppose are all remainers.

I'd rather make a protest vote for a real BREXIT person that is not a member of the main parties, but I can't.

I don't trust the Tories for obvious reasons.

I think the whole crisis is a national embarrassment, especially as the Queen's speech said that we were definitely leaving on the 31st October, 2019.

Because the election is in mid December and everyone is Christmas shopping and preparing for Christmas, some also go on holiday this time of year abroad, I anticipate a low turn out this election. Although the Tories are the most committed voters.

We do have some great independents standing in some areas, we have at least three English Democrats standing that I have seen, we have John Kitson from 5g awareness standing, we have over 40 UKIP candidates standing. So I am hoping there will be some protest vote that will go to our activists where it is possible to vote for those people. I am hoping there is going to be some surprises with some of our activists becoming MPs.

The Tories can't keep on holding BREXIT over our heads to force us leavers to vote for them.

Hope that is clear enough.

Thanks so much for your in-depth and detailed reply, @KOMMA.
All very clear indeed and most appreciated. Heartflowers

I'm sorry though you are constrained in your voting choices and
I too hope some of your activists will make impressive and impactful
showings.

I do hope there will be a better turnout than you are anticipating
all things considered, especially since Tories have such a good voting
track record.

Holding good thoughts your BREXIT comes soon. Better late than
never as they say! Heartflowers

I will be surprised if the Tories get a majority, they didn't get a majority last time, and I see no reason why they would do so this time, due to promises to the electorate broken by the Tories themselves. Our activists will only be satisfied with NO DEAL and Boris took that off the table. Another reason why a lot of our activists don't support him or the Tories.

It was supposed to be hustings in Crayford, and they didn't allow the general public in, so it wasn't a public hustings as it was meant to be. They told Graham that they didn't let the general public in because the general public get irate!!!!

Graham Moore, English Democrat gives his feedback on what happened.
