Two Shark Attacks In A Day. (Posted: 04-16-2018, 05:27 AM)
I love it when the circus known as the Margaret River Surfing Pro comes to town, it never fails to entertain.

My bit of coastline is very sharky, it also has some of the best waves in the world, last month we had a mass whale stranding a few kilometres south and today two shark attacks in Gracetown, a place meant to be cursed according to aboriginals who speak of an undocumented massacre over a hundred years ago. A few decades back a section of cliff collapsed on a group of school kids taking shelter there along with teachers and parents at a school swimming carnival. There has been three fatal shark attacks there this century making it a very dangerous place to go swimming and surfing. Basic rule of thumb is, if there are seals in the water stay away but tourists don't know that apparently.
How's your neck of the woods?

Quote:There are reports of a second shark attack off Gracetown on Monday afternoon.
The incident follows a confirmed attack in the same area this morning.
