Pretty much. Instead of correcting the lie with the truth they debate the lie thus furthering the meme that the lie is the truth.

That's his support in the media.

His detractors just push the lie and push the lie regardless of what information comes out that shows it to be a lie.

You see all of this behavior on the TV, on allegedly independent web sites and in varied chat formats such as forums, twitter, facebook and the like.

Very rare is there someone on most of those venues that actually points out the lie and provides the truth.

Luckily we have this place. I'd love to see what we do here duplicated into other venues by others who pick up the fact that everyone else is lying and the truth needs to e told.
