Trade war: US-China endgame?
#11
See in the old days what used to happen is all the countries of the world manufactured things and would trade with each other. Sometimes it was cheaper to buy something made in another country, and they would put a tarrif on it so it was more expensive to the public so they wouldn't buy it and they would buy something local instead. But the world has shifted and it is no longer like this. We hardly manufacture anything anymore cause most of the corporations sold our parents out and moved the manufacturing to China. So now there is nothing local to buy.

Once again it is not the producers of the good that pay these tarrifs but the purchasers of the goods that pay the tarrifs. The only way this is going to punish them is it will make the product to expensive to buy with the tarrifs so people will do without unless there is a locally made product.

Maybe the Chinese are not eager to return to the trade table. So far since the trade war has started it has cost American farmers $7.7 billion and the goverment is paying it but that means we the people are paying it. They have also cancelled buying from Canada $2.7 billion in agricultural products.
I have the feeling they have outsourced these products to Brazil, the soybeans and all that.

China's economy is also very fragile right now. They are having a great deal of financial problems. They are close to collapse.
So i don't know what it will be like for a Country that big to collapse, I'm sure though it will be a even bigger impact than Lehman bros.

So I don't know how this will turn out. I'm pretty sure 99% of the products at Walmart are also from China.
I hope everything resolves and I don't have to pay more for my stuff.

It's all down to who's economy can hold out the longest. Trump has upped the odds, called the shots. . . . If he turns round and say 'hey let's do a deal' it shows all is not well. I think China are going to teach a lesson here. In many respects they hold a lot of 'ace cards' It all has the possibility to backfire big time , we all know what that will lead to !

7 billion to the us government isnt dick

give the farmers 7 billion, buy the soybeans and give guatamela and hondurus 7 billion in soybeans, which they can sell to China as long as they stop their people from sneaking into our country.

that would be equal to China paying for our wall MAGA

I think Trump is right and China, given their situation can't hold out for long. No doubt the U.S. is their biggest customer.

Where there is imbalance I am the counterweight. Beware, for if you are a cause of imbalance you may not enjoy my presence.
