I haven't heard of any tornadoes in my area though!

@WNC are you ok. I heard you guys got hit hard in your area?

Lots of downed trees all over.

11 thousand without power..

O.K. here, hope everyone else is o.k. Power came back on at about 5:40 PM then went out again at 7:40 PM. Still out, Duke expects to have it restored around 3:00 this afternoon.

Good to know. Your town made the news with all the trees down and damage done. Glad to know you guys are ok.

Oh @MysticPizza I didn't mean tornadoes. Just the heavy wind damage in this area and trees falling. It was in the Asheville news on WLOS-TV 13. Heartflowers

Just depends on who you listen to. 2-4 big storms seems to be the concensus.:

"It's very early and things could change, but storm experts at Colorado State University are already looking ahead to the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season."

In a report issued earlier this month, they’re tentatively anticipating a lower probability of the heavy storm activity that characterized the past three years.
