Top scientist claims we'll STOP drinking alcohol within 'a generation'
#31
Now the other aspect of this is that if you read NEW SCIENTIST there is an article that was published and I shared it on THE FRINGE, that they've been injecting alcohol into cancer patients for three decades. They inject it into the nerves surrounding the cancer to stop it spreading. It was a success, not only did it stop it spreading, people involved in it, also lived longer.

Liberate the power of love within and it is so powerful, it is a key to life. A life redeemed is a life in the hands of the Lord, the voice that said, "You are safe". Every morning he brings his word of unfailing love, he leads the redeemed, in strength he guides the redeemed to his holy dwelling.

I'd rather live happy and a shorter life, than live longer and be put in a nursing home, let me leave the planet celebrating when the time comes.

Who says you can't live a long and happy life... 1dunno1

By the time my grandma got put into a nursing home she had already lost her marbles, so she didn't know where she was any way. It was only about 2 years in a old folks home, but she lived to 93 and never drank. Many people who do drink only live to 60 or 70, some far less. I never had a happy hang over, if fact they suck ass lol. I don't think laying in a hospital bed with all sorts of health problems is going to make me happy. The only happy part is the few hours your drinking, every other aspect of it sucks ass. I don't find any of that as living happy, but hey to each their own eh Chuckle

Breathing today's toxic air, and drinking today's toxic water, and eating today's toxic food probably causes about a hundred different forms of cancer. Yeah3

My old man was a serious hard ass but never a drinker. It was forbidden. Now that he is in his eighties and his brilliance is in serious decay and he struggles with the daily physical activities of keeping up with the land that he will not let go of, I know I don't want to live that long. I say do what brings you comfort as long as it's not immoral or harms others.

We are all onboard the ship to oblivion. So, does it really matter within the scope of totality?

Too bad about your old man. It is normal to decline at that age. He shouldn't be working the land anymore, you and your kids should be doing that now Chuckle I wouldn't mind just sitting in a rocker laughing at the idiots, can you imagine the how dumb the kids will be by then lol.

Of course I say do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't harm others. Now that bring up the question at what point does someones drinking harm others. Maybe that's a topic for a different thread. But really I've never seen a healthy drunk. So do what you want I say, just know that alcohol is always gonna take more from you than it gives. So when I see people say I don't want to live that long anyway, I think wait until you are facing death, you may have a change of heart about that decision.
