The work from home phenomenon has increased and will continue to increase exponentially during this pandemic. Corporate America will realize the full potential and savings and will in many cases make this a perminate position for their employees. The saving in downsizing office space and multiple insurances alone will be phenomenal!

The savings will be Yuge! The transition will be painful but the economy will be really good once this transition takes place.  There will be many new jobs and many new businesses created as a result.

That is largely true on the surface.

We will see a change in the way statistics are kept similar to what happened in the early 80's under Reagan when they changed unemployment and inflation formulas to make them both lower in the official numbers.

Yes, that will certainly be the case for a long while, but in the future, everything will change.

I hope someone is keeping records somewhere so I get the recognition one day for what I am posting here today!  Yeah3

In order to work for an employer, most will require at the very minimum a chip implant in the not so distance future. You will want one if you need to earn money to survive.

I'm not so sure that's still in their plans since they do sometimes scrap whole projects and change their plans. I'll even tell you about two different things from the past that I'm sure you and everyone else has forgotten all about because they drew people's interests and attention elsewhere. Both ideas were fully scrapped by the Bush family.

1. NAFTA Superhighway connecting Canada, America, and Mexico for trade between nations.

2. North American Union and the minting of the Amero coin/currency for use between Canada, America, and Mexico. They even minted all of the coins before scrapping the idea. That's how sure they were it would happen, but as things go, times change, people discover in this age of computer and smartphone technologies and yet even though scrapped because people have become aware, they the people soon forget. The above are two perfect examples.

Not sure if it's what you mean but I am constantly hearing "New Normal" everywhere.....  1dunno1

@Stiff Lizard I have missed you.

I have been hearing the term new normal also. For years there has been talk about a great reset, maybe this is it.

The reason the chip will come is it will enable a worker to be more productive and it will create new efficiencies in the workplace. Once one company does it the rest will have to do it to compete.

Okay, but think about this logically:

1. The seal is placed on the podium before each event. So even if they got another podium from somewhere, that wouldn't affect the seal

2. Broken mic? Really? You think they wouldn't have a spare? Or a thousand spares?

3, It doesn't explain why the seal was replaced with the generic looking "White House" logos that stand in place now.

Like you, I'm looking for an Occam's Razor explanation, but as much as I wish it was true, I don't think your guess fits the bill. Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

I think Trump in his wisdom just told his staff: "Look, don't worry about it. It's not that important right now."

I don't know why everyone is all interested in the location or this missing
Presidential Seal.
The last time I took close note of The Presidential Seal was back in the 1990's.
I confess I was very interested in the Presidential Seal splattered all over Monica's
blue dress. Inquiring minds, like mine, wanted to know how it got there. And what
was Bubba doing at the time.
