It's a navy term The Head is the toilet/washroom, the Galley is the kitchen...

Skuttlebutt is a water cooler and is also a term for rumours going around like "The word around the water cooler" = "Skuttlebutt"

It's a British Royal Navy term for the bathroom. The toilet was located at the Head of the ship on sail ships of old. So the tradition remains in seafaring countries.

I'm not great on boats.. I get sea sick.. I blame it on my teens living in the tropics and going out with my dad on his friends boats around all the beautiful islands.. I would be vomiting the whole time..
