Taco Bell Voted the Best Mexican Food Restaurant In the Country.
#31
For some reason Taco Bell is a franchise that has never made it across the pond...no idea why.

Not sure I would consider it a restaurant tho.

We have a few real mexican restaurants, but eating there usually escalates pretty quickly, because they serve margaritas with all courses... Drinks

Best chicken EVER !! Don’t have one here :(

Had to look it up, seems to be a southern east coast thing.  Menu looks great.

Me, my mom, step dad and grandpa had it for breakfast when I was there visiting  Chuckle

Looking at that biscuit menu I'm a bit pissed we don't have one here. I'm drooling a little bit. Country ham and egg biscuit... damn.

I'm ashamed to say how many of those I ate when I lived in SC. Same thing every morning for a while, country ham and egg biscuit and a sausage gravy biscuit. Anon

That's because Taco Bell restaurants are the last phase of the NWO take over. When you get a Taco Bell in your town, it's time to be concerned. Chuckle

Hmm...and here I was thinking its because of the distinct lack of mexicans.

Kebab on every street corner tho... Eyeroll

Whatever Happened To The Taco Bell Enchirito?

Any true Mexican food connoisseur remembers the Taco Bell Enchirito like it was yesterday. The soft flour tortilla burgeoning with beef, beans and onions — topped with cheddar cheese and swimming in red sauce — was one of Taco Bell’s top items for decades, before completely disappearing from menus in 2013.

Whatever happened to this pile of gooey goodness?

Popeye's is my favorite here in the SW. Not all Popeye's are created equally. I found a really good one. They have the least amount of grease on their fried chicken I've seen. Obviously, the deep fryer is cranked up good and hot before they put the chicken in the oil. The red beans and rice are pretty good but they are stingy as to what constitutes a serving. I've been to other Popeye's in different regions and they have collard greens cooked with pork. I love that. Out here in the SW they just have green beans so I have to make my greens myself.
