100 degrees is the cool side of the norm here in Texas !

Another thing I don’t like about Texas!

Was a nice 26C (77F) here all day that might seem cool to you Southerners but I sure enjoyed it.

Reminds me of Virginia, breathing 90% humidity! Spent the summer there after my senior year in high school to go to AIT. Dang it was hot! Got issued a water proof bag that I shoved in my Alice pack. I would pull a Coors party ball out of its box and shove it in, then fill with a bag of ice! Draped the nozzle over my shoulder and cruised all the Smithsonians and monuments every weekend! I had no idea the museums were so huge! My favorite monument was the Lincoln memorial, the saddest one was the Vietnam memorial. I knelt down in front of it and put my hand on it just like that famous picture. I know I was not one of them but I had to leave my respect for all the adults I knew and respected that would never make it there. I hate the east coast in the summer!
