NO.  YOU ARE MISINFORMED.

If you do not have that $60k sitting in your bank account, your request to gain a green card will be turned down.  Doesn't matter that you are married, and one spouse is a US citizen.  Additionally, you need to have money to cover all immigration fees, attorneys, and living expenses.  AND neither party can access any social sevices until the green card is issued, and then only the US citizen can access those (however the $60k should cover those expenses, but then you wouldn't have the $60k, which could put you in jeopardy).

Forget graduating from college, taking a tour of Europe, meeting and falling in love, getting married and bringing your spouse home with you to the USA.  No young graduate could afford it.

Then the other party should move out of the US to be with their spouse...if they truly love and cannot live without them.
If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

The article:

https://www.citizenfreepress.com/column-...n-seconds/

Youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_conti...Sy2Mc3ww-w    (collapse begins at ~3:53)

"The implosion, which took 16 seconds, created a thick plume of dust that lingered for several minutes."

Martin Tower - 21 stories, 16 seconds (although I see it as a little quicker, perhaps 10-12 seconds)
WTC 7 - 47 stories, 8 seconds
WTC 2 - 110 stories, 10 seconds
WTC 1 - 110 stories, 12 seconds

Imagine the amount of external energy required to collapse the Martin Tower ( 21 stories in 12 seconds).

Extrapolate that amount of energy to WTC 7, twice as big/tall, falling in 2/3rds of the time. That is a factor of some 3 times as much as the Martin Tower.

Same formula to WTC 2, 5 times as tall, falling in slightly less time. That is a factor of 6 times that of the Martin Tower.

Again with WTC 1, 5 times as tall, about the same time to collapse. That is a factor of 5 times that of the Martin Tower.

One can map this, chart it, spreadsheet it to death, does not matter. Take away the math and complicated formulas.

LOOK AT IT ! SEE IT !

Martin Tower (Bethlemen Steel) at 21 stories, collapsed in 12 seconds using enormous amounts of explosives (energy).

***  Now, ask yourself, what in the world would bring down a building 5 times as tall, in the same amount of time? ***

Great post, @Hard Assets I didn't know this took place.

snip:

President Trump is signing a memorandum Thursday that will enforce a 23-year-old provision requiring sponsors of legal immigrants in the U.S. to reimburse the government for any social services such as Medicaid or welfare used by the immigrant, Fox News has learned.

The provision was part of the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) and Welfare Reform laws that were signed by then-President Bill Clinton, but despite being enshrined in federal law, the rule has not been enforced.

Under the provision, each future sponsor of an immigrant would need to sign an affidavit that would spell out the financial responsibilities for the sponsored immigrant and create a collection mechanism to recover funds from the sponsor. The Department of Health and Human Services is to collect the data of the sponsors and the immigrants, while the Treasury Department would collect the funds.

I just want to bring the cold light of day to this:  this will crush any marriage of a US "citizen" and any non-US "national".  How many young couples do you know that have $60k they can sit on, until they go through 4-5 years of the immigration process, plus additional thousands in attorney fees to go through the process?

This is a BAD LAW.

Only if they go on social services/welfare....they simply need enough money/means to support selves for a period of time.  If the sponsor or the immigrant cannot support said folks/self, then no entry.  Simple.

Routine in other immigration processes/countries.

I agree.

In the USA immigrants are not allowed to go on welfare or apply for social services...which is why everyone who wants to marry and foreigner and bring them here needs to understand the realities of being a sponsor. If they divorce, they are on the hook for their spouse for 10 years.

K1 visas have been a huge contributor to the problems in our country...many of the applicants have been abusing the system.

A lot of fake marriages.

Dementia appears to possibly be hereditary, but not communicable, whereas demonization can be both (sins of the fathers [Leviticus 26], generational curses [3 to 10 generations, Deut. 23], associations [Proverbs 22:24-5].

Bingo.  This is YUGE.

I wonder what the Cruz "dossier" was about.  (insurance) (just in case)

They had two previous applications for a FISA denied, which is fairly much unheard of.

They HAD to get this warrant to "legitimise" their previous illegal spying campaign.
Simpson already had a Russia story ready to go and it could be employed against which ever candidate was successful.
He is the actual author of the dossier.

Had Cruz won the nomination, this would have been immediately challenged in the courts due to his Canadian connections. (the irony!)
DJT was the preferred candidate by HRC and now we all know why.
