Twit has blown a gasket on the best little corner of the Twit World.

In the last 24 hours nearly ALL of my go-to guys have been Banned/Suspended.

https://twitter.com/_ImperatorRex_/statu...7854969858

Among those:  Rex, Wictor, Larry Schweikart, Sundance (LastRefuge) & Harold Finch.

Rex is back...for now.

Note:  It's not the Q Brigade (yet) but mostly political commenters that are connecting dots.

It's not just twitter. The "search and destroy" order has been signaled and it is being carried out in broad spectrum real time.

I understand Facebuck is doing something similar.

I keep seeing people talking about Edsel.
Is this to do with the old car of that name ( I may be remembering even that incorrectly) or is it something else?  1dunno1

It's a pun.  Sorry, I'm prone to do that, as you well know.  Chuckle

Edsel (Ford) was a dog of a car named after Henry Ford's son that debuted in the late 50's ~ it was ugly as sin and only made for a couple of years.

Thanks. Chuckle

I knew it was a car but not that it was a Ford.
It makes sense now.

What benefit (for either side) is there in calling a recess for a WEEKEND??

I think I read that, she's a Statistical Psychologist, meaning she likely looks for psychological trends of behavior in a population or group. She teaches her specialty and maybe, recruits for the CIA.

Did she at any time in the hearing claim to have a licensed practice or patients?

Here's a bit of trivia for you.
People who hold a Phd, DocPhil and even rarer DLitt and DSc are doctors.

The title of Doctor for physicians is an honorary title.

I know some schools give a PhD in a hard science (physics), while others reserve DSc for a degree in the Hard Sciences (MIT for one). Doctorial grads in liberal arts and soft sciences (psychology) get PhDs. This is one way to distinguish them. But, i thought an MD, being heavy in Biology and with the big wall of Biochemistry sorting out the unqualified, it would fall into the hard sciences?

My dentist has a DDS and a PhD in Biology. He's a prof at the local med school. I would think a DDS is further away from a "scientist" than a MD?  I'll have to ask how many Bio-Chem courses he had to take. I think a Pathologist is likely the most highly trained in Chemistry and Biochemistry?

Regardless if she’s the kind of doctor who dispenses meds, it’s a big deal and very prestigious to have earned a Doctorate. For that reason alone, one has earned the right to be addressed as “doctor.”

They can meet 'off the record' if they choose, in wee small conclaves at the golf course, etc..

Or they can go home, shit, shower & shave.

The boffins working on the 7th FBI Anal Probe don't have it so good.

She may have a doctorate, but she calls herself a psycologist ~ I'll have to dig for the article ~ but actually, she's calling herself a 'Psychologist' illegally according to the California statute. She is NOT a licensed psychologist. With her recent notoriety, that fact came out thanks to the anon diggers ~ her employer's website has scrubbed the reference, but it's still archived out there.

She will prolly face charges in California ~ the medical community gets touchy about that shit ~ and she may well face perjury charges for false testimony under oath to Congress.

Lemme back track and see if I can locate that article...

My heart goes out to Sen. Grassley!!! Even though most those traitors in his committee are vile, he has known them for a long time and you can see the pain in his eyes for what awaits them! He truly is good man and definitely a white hat!

As Q said, "Trust Grassley"

As toxic as Congress is, cannot help but think there moles and double/triple agents everywhere.

Here's that article ~ one of many out there...

https://www.dangerous.com/49836/records-...d-perjury/

RECORDS SHOW DR. FORD IS NOT A LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST, MAY HAVE COMMITTED PERJURY
CHADWICK MOORE // EDITOR-IN-CHIEF // 9.28.18

Testifying under oath before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Christine Blasey Ford identified herself as a ‘psychologist,’ but records indict this is a false statement under California law. Someone at Stanford University also appears to have caught the blunder and edited Ford’s faculty page.
Just one sentence into her sworn testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford may have told a lie.

After thanking members of the committee on Thursday, and while under oath, Ford opened her testimony saying, “My name is Christine Blasey Ford, I am a professor of psychology at Palo Alto University and a research psychologist at the Stanford University School of Medicine.”

Karu,

As the saying goes, I want to believe....

I guess I just want to see something to convince me.  A public arrest...a public statement.  I just can’t stand the constant “attacks” and negativity all the time. It’s very demoralizing. It’s so COUNTER to everything you say is going on.

Dayum.  It's an INSPIRING overview and totally off the charts as per expectations.  Damned

Thanks for posting!

But it’s mostly conjecture...

It’s my turn to be little Miss Hotmess, I guess....
