Plenty of red in SoCal, plenty of desert that is uninhabited as well.

California and Northern California, not so much.

Believe me, if our leadership wasn't batshit here I'd want to leave the union.
When in doubt, roll the bones.

Ive been to nor cal, central cal, south cal and run into more people like myself and on this board...then the liberal assbags who run the show. The prob is the leadership, period.

Truth is we are indeed very different than the rest of America here. It's not just the gay shit or some hippy shit.

The state "Go West" with the Gold Rush to start things off. There's an odd pioneer spirit here that lingers up north, people from all over the world want to be here, we collectively dream in different ways more than likely than other places.

People who can't seem to get along do so decently in California.

The Mexican culture fits right in too, it's really only a problem with economics for the most part, not lifestyle.

We are leaders in arts, music, movies, entertainment. Beauty all over the place. Lots of agriculture.

We are rather California(centrist).

Others may read that as smug. But it's not like that. We are different.

For tax purposes, California paid $405,851,295,000 or 400 billion dollars to the FEDS from the data I can see, 2015. Texas 280 billion as the second highest tax payer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_ta...e_by_state

But received just $292 billion in back in federal benefits returned. in 2012, wish I had same year stats. But you can see a whole lot of our wealth leaves the state.

So I'm going to estimate over 120 billion loss.

I think we could leave the union if we had decent leadership.

If you took 1/2 of that 120 billion and used it on military, well we'd have the third most spending power in the world.

I'm gonna call it like it is, ya'll aint doing us any favors besides protecting us with the constitution, and much of the rest of the country despises us politically.
When in doubt, roll the bones.

Up until last year I would have agreed with the spilit...it's a good idea and one they have had for sometime now.

But...the tide is shifting in the Red Wakes favor...so I wonder if the split, which has been largely ignored by the leftists, isn't due them being worried that CA will become Red again.

That equals 55 electoral votes.

Just saying...they might be able to see the writing on this wall and don't like what they are reading.

Had Hillary won, I would have pushed for Texas to do just that.

I was born in California and stationed at Norton AFB, my family worked the fields in El Centro...I was raised in AZ, along the Colorado River and know how CA siphon's the shit out of it...I wasn't always a Texan, so I know about CA and it's smugness.

If by Mexicans 'getting along' you mean turning CA and AZ into Mexico, you are right. Back in the 80's it was getting hard to tell the difference between Ensenada, Calexico, Mexicali, parts of LA, Yuma and San Luis...they started to blend. And that is NOT a good thing. I can just imagine what fkg hellholes those places are today.

Mexico is getting more violent, they can't even hold an election without their candidates being murdered...California needs to make up it's fkg mind. Are they with us or not?

Time is running out.

No we aint with you. Not really.

We share a problem. Our leadership sucks in California, which puts a burden on the rest of America in politics, which would also mean our doom if we left the union.

It's just too bad we can't go our separate ways.
