CNN reported on it in passing.  Look folks, the president (well justice dept) offered mucho millitary weapons and gear to KC police.  They declined for the most part as the ST Louis/Ferguson debacle that he condemned the cops for.  He just said today that the DOJ cannot help this.  That homeland security cannot help this.  It has to start from the bottom up.  Fuck him.  Every decent cop should be pissed.  This clown offers millitary shit then condems officers shot because it isn't from the bottom up.  Dude is devicive.  He should shut the fuck up with that.  Doublespeak.  Some here see that.  I expect some local police here calling some bullshit on that.  Guy pretty much threw the police shot under the bus and did not address the increasing violence against police. Again, fuck that guy.

I have a feeling that this is going to keep escalating and more police are going to get shot. Unfortunately there aren't many on the left speaking out about it..

Hoping this isn't a trend.  KC isn't Saint Louis.  Kc, KS has very compartmentalized minority communities.  The location there is largely African American.  There is a historic area (Argentine) that is mostly Hispanic.  Ok ed there.  Never had issues then.  Times have changed.  News is saying 2-3 have been caught.    Cop is dead.  They just announced it.  Shit.  Getting g tired of this.  Has nothing to do with protests with watching the statement being made.  A drive by that was called in, then it turned into a police chance then asshats shooting the cop.

People are either so desenitized to this, or just tired of it...........I saw NOTHING on my news, about this............ Eyeroll

Just like Milan...........barely any coverage.......

Watched the funeral.  Was a rough one to see cops cry.  A buddy of mine who is a Sgt. knew him.    Trump addressed the two officers shot in two weeks with kc. I liked that.  This is not racist.  Cops are are more alert with young black men because of this.  The seemingly overwhelming stats with arrest and harsher sentences with.....look....there is a real gang problem in KC.  Young black men get arrested "disproportionate" because they commit more crimes in proportion.  Truth.  With here.  Harsher sentences because many are repeat offenders.  Got off on probation before.  Then hard.  Stats are skewed with who and what agenda with stats.

Then this shit.

https://fox4kc.com/2016/07/25/police-inv...-officers/

"KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police are investigating reports of shots fired at police on motorcycles.
The incidents were reported last week while motorcycle officers were preparing for the funeral of police Capt. Dave Melton.
Both incidents reportedly happened along Interstate 70, and involved a vehicle described as a dark-colored passenger car.
On Wednesday, after motorcycle officers escorted Melton's body to the funeral home, KCK police said a suspicious car followed a Lenexa officer as he rode near the I-70/I-670 split, following closely and matching the speed of the officer.
"He moves over, changes lanes. The car is maneuvering the same way he is, doing the same, everything that he’s doing," said Amber Thomas-Hickerson of the KCK police. "He proceeds to speed up to try to get away from this vehicle. The car speeds up and stays right with him. They get to the I-70/670 split, the motorcycle officer veers off onto I-70 and hears a loud pop which he believes was shots fired. He was not hit, not injured."
