Anyone else think that movie was like the Ultimate Dystopian Nightmare, yet they tried to twist it all around into some kind of feel-good movie?

I have 5 boys, only one left at home while he finishes school. You can call them millennials because of their age group, but NONE of them are doing this. I blame the parents more than the kids. The parents had to tolerate this kind of thing, condone and encourage it. These kids have no real life skills and it's the parents fault for not teaching them better. Parents who are in debt up to their eyeballs because they don't know how to sacrifice and save. They are the first instant gratification generation and their kids are the evolution of the social engineering that told us we deserve everything and shouldn't have to wait.
If you don't want your kids to do stupid sheet, teach them not to do stupid sheet.
It's not worth doing something unless you were doing something that someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren't doing.

Hush now.

You can't say this. It isn't anyone's fault. Everyone deserves a trophy. Everyone deserves to grow up and study Marine Biology and believe they can make $150K a year as a Marine Biologist in Colorado.

Why oh why am I in debt? I have an English Degree and spend every day in my local Starbucks writing my screenplay, but no one every gives me $5 million for my screenplay about growing up as a Blue haired, bisexual, transgender, interspecies erotica performer that just wants to be loved by his parents.
