I'll always remember those people in Brazil trying to get away from this dam blowing

Yep! First you’re going to say it, then it’s going to happen in your titey-whiteys!

There was the one on Pope T's thread?  Not in Joklahoma though.

It was back in the days of CoP , Cinnamon was constantly posting about it. . . Posting videos of a damaged 'spillway' or whatever its called. It was quite a few years ago Frigg.

If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

Hookers N Reelers is dealing with the rising levels of Lake Perry.
Chuckle

We’re going to be sloshing through waters, so it’s come up pretty quickly today,” General Manager Sarah Hardesty said.

By Tuesday morning water flowed onto their deck and inside.

“Now we’re just kind of moving the outside stuff in because the water as you can see is coming up over the sidewalk. We’re moving everything up to our top level, then kind of in a holding pattern,” Hardesty explained.

R.J. Harms with the Army Corps of Engineers said Lake Perry is 24 feet above normal levels.

“So 891.5 is the conservation level for Perry and this morning, we’re right at 915,” he said.

Harms said flood waters from Nebraska are overflowing the Missouri River, which ultimately affected many Kansas lakes.
