Wow, I don't know what to say except I'm so sorry for you that you are pretty much trapped in a really difficult situation!

I just got back from the Post Office.....and that was crazy....I thought I was stuck 3 times both ways....

I am not getting out for a week...they will have to re-grade the road completely next week...

Its as bad as I have ever seen it...

I think they are worried it might get close to the levee height this time...means water building problem....sand bags maybe....

its already out around us so we are a little isolated.... Chuckle as the creator obviously likes..... Chuckle

Missouri is out and the Nishnabatna is way over at the mouth....but still behind the levee

everyone bracing for record crest on Nishnabatna

I'm a little worried now

Louisville is still getting hammered.Part of the facade at a parking garage was torn off by the wind.Minor damage and no one hurt.
A friend in New Albany,Ind. had a tree limb damage her jeep. That's her baby, she's livid. At least she's okay.
I hope everyone in the path of this is safe.

North east Iowa here at 8pm March 14th the wind is starting to kick up they say it will blow up to 50mph tonight ..
But everything is good here right now; I live in a brick house with a basement where my motorcycle is warm and cozy ...

Well guys... Guess looking at the maps and stuff, I was suppose to be in some horrible weather. It's been raining on me but I didn't think the weather was bad at all. I do like the rain hitting the tin roof. I actually thought the weather has been nice.  Chuckle It's rained and I had to sit outside in the chilly weather to smoke for a few days but basically, the cold and rain went away and it was nice. I sat outside a couple days there and smoked and read books. Took a 'vacation' that I had to come home and recover from.  Chuckle Those dang dogs are too big. And stairs.... I know why I have ramps now. I was wondering as it's been so long ago that I demanded them instead of stairs. I do have 3 steps out my back door but I don't use that door much. Only if I can not use the front. I go around my house if I want to go into the back. I don't know why. Might be because for a few years back when we bought this thing, we didn't have any way to get out the back door or sliding glass door. And if you stepped out, you dropped down around 5ft/1.5meters so we didn't step out those doors. We actually were not there that much and we eventually moved it here before I finally put me up some cinder block steps. I need to get more blocks. But one block step works as much as I use it. And we still will fall down around 3ft/1meter if you step out the sliding door.  Chuckle  I haven't thought of that in a few years now. Today is going to be gorgeous it looks like. I guess KY got a tornado yesterday. Not my area. We got a little rain but I've seen lots better storms.

I got in yesterday, did some chores and went to bed right after dinner. This getting old sure sucks. No energy anymore. And I drink enough rootbeer, sugar and caffeine, to wire ya up.  Chuckle

Guess I am starting to get the cats spayed on Monday. Got a deal worked out with the vet and a charity for 15 cats to be spayed and it's only gonna cost me $750.  Eyeroll  But IF, yeah big IF, I applied for a grant that pays $25 for each spaying which will bring my costs down and a 503C charity in the area said she would split the rest of it leaving me around $15 a cat. Or around $40 a cat and the price includes rabies shots. But I have to upfront the $55 and won't know on the grant until next week but you can apply monthly for it. No charities, it must be individuals that have cats to be spayed and all. I was impressed this lady found it. I've looked at grants and they have tons of them out there. Free money if you can get it. Anyone wants it, I can look it up or ask the lady for it again. I guess it might work on one or two cats too as they asked how many cats I had and how many I wanted to get spayed. No more kittens..... Now that I am getting them fixed, why do I want another kitten. I do have one that is still nursing. Ahhhh, I shall miss the kittens. They are fun to watch. But I will not have to put up litter boxes anymore. Be so nice.... 1 more month or so.....

Looks like it was going to be gorgeous today so someone decided we needed some chemtrails.... Cloudy day incoming.... Amazing how you can just look out a window and see those trails and know it's going to be cloudy.  Chuckle
