Just got home from the rehab facility

I doubt that I've mentioned the older lady that is my neighbor. Her husband died right before I moved here in '15.
She has MS and I've always kinda checked on her. She fell inside her home and was in the hospital. She has no other family. One of her friends has POA and doesn't think she's fit to live at home. Her dog has been boarded at the vet for the weeks this has been going on.

She's afraid she'll never get to come home and she'll lose her house and her dog.

Her name is Pam if you feel inclined to pray for her. I would appreciate it.

That's the problem. I feel helpless. She doesn't have her cell phone or any of her own clothes. Her friend has her house key. I can't do anything

The kind soul is an old soul my friend - prayers sent Heartflowers
Get the dog out of jail and look after it - take some pictures with it, will probably ease her mind a lot ....

Going to visit her isn't nothing. I am sure it made her realize she is not alone in the world. I know exactly how you feel. I was in the same situation about two years ago. I went to my next door neighbors to take her grocery shopping and she collapsed at the door. Her place was trashed from her falling and pulling a shelf down on a glass table.

It turned out that the hospital had missed an internal injury when she had an accident a few months before. She died about six days later. I went to see her several times and the day before she died she asked me to take her kitten if she died. He is a full grown cat now in sleeping on my bed.

Flyover, that could be any of us. I will definitely pray for her. Can you find out if she has any ins coverage?? Even Medicaid or Medicare. And depending on the state, she might be eligible for home care. Can you contact her friend to find out, or even the facility?

That reality hit me tonight. One of her other friends is who called me to inform me where she was.

She's in her 70s so I think home health would be partially paid for. Her friend that's POA doesn't think much of anyone but herself. She's been kinda nasty to me and according to Pam hasn't been to see her in days.

I saw her car over there a few days ago along with a moving truck. I hope she's helping and not stealing her stuff or planning to sell her home.
