Jussie Smollett LATEST update: ALL charges DROPPED Venue Change..THE FIX IS IN
#21
Isn't he a high yellow or what they call a mulatto in the black community? I was really shocked to find out that the black community actually uses the word mulatto for people still but they do. The only place I read that is when it's a black writer. Anyway, him being that light, he's not gonna get as much sympathy as you would think from the black community. And no one wants to look stupid like him and those two goons he hired. His cast mates already want him gone for good with no reminders of him left. He's toast.

And then there is that little federal law about 3 strikes (3 felonies) and you are doing a life sentence. This is mandatory sentencing at it's finest. https://www.dui-criminal-lawyers.com/dsm...w-illinois  But does he fit all the criteria? He probably doesn't really but with as many counts as he has, they could I am sure. Jury selection is going to be very important to him. He needs to make a deal.

The sentence on that type of felony seems to be 1-3 years in the pen and up to $25,000 fine. And they can make him do 30-120 hours of community service and charge him for any emergency vehicle that was used to go to the scene of the crime. This is 16 counts and basically... sucks for him to have to say this when he is asked why he is in the pen. Chuckle Reminds me of Alice's Restaurant song. "What did you do kid?" "Littering." And they all moved away from him on the bench.  Jptdknpa But this guy is going to say, legally and technically, he was convicted of 'disorderly conduct' at a felony level.  Jptdknpa

The judge will run all these sentences concurrently. Which means he is only facing 1-3 years in the pen and if it's his first offense... He might get to do a year in the county pokie but if they give him 366 days or over, he is going to the big house. He doesn't have a job anymore and I doubt if anyone will touch him right now if ever. He's ruined.

He should be charged with Hate Crimes... Not even joking. How is what he did any different than what he was trying to get 2 innocent White men falsely incarcerated for?

This was INDEED A HATE CRIME and Jussie was the perp not a victim in any way shape or form.

Throw the book at this piece of shit.

Think for yourself

All Your Questions About Jussie Smollett’s Latest Charges, Answered

Could Smollett actually face jail time?
Yes. The charge for filing a false police report is a felony in Illinois. Technically, it’s considered a Class 4 felony, the least serious of all possible felony charges, but it still carries a sentence ranging from one to three years in prison and fines up to $25,000.
In order to charge Smollett, the investigators needed to prove to the grand jury that he knowingly lied about the incident to police, which resulted in a false police report. The actor could also be forced to pay restitution for the cost of the investigation, which, given the high-profile nature of the case, could be substantial.
As this case moves forward, prosecutors could also consider adding an obstruction of justice charge, which basically means that Smollett would be accused of “knowingly” resisting or obstructing the work of an investigator. This could also carry jail time.
The 16 additional charges that have been added each also carry up to four years in jail or probation. Smollett has already pled not guilty to the first disorderly conduct charge.
At this point, one of the best-case scenarios for the actor could be to plead to a misdemeanor to avoid prison time. But again, given the high-profile nature of the case, a judge may not be so lenient as to accept the plea. Smollett could end up facing a very public criminal trial. Even before he was formally charged, he hired two criminal-defense attorneys, Victor Henderson and Todd Pugh, who said they intend to vigorously defend their client against all charges.
What about the threatening letter Smollett says he received? Did he fabricate that, too?
Johnson confirmed during a press conference on February 21 that the police believe Smollett did fabricate the letter. Both the FBI and U.S. Postal inspectors are currently investigating the letter, which said, “You will die black faggot,” in cut-out magazine letters. It also featured a stick figure hanging from a tree.
Can Smollett get into even more legal trouble for faking a letter?
Smollett could be charged with federal mail fraud, which carries its own set of criminal charges beyond what he’s facing in the state of Illinois. To be convicted of mail fraud, a prosecutor would need to prove that the actor intended to perform a fraudulent act and that he used the mail purposely to execute it.
Charges for being convicted of mail fraud range from fines up to $250,000 to prison time up to 20 years. Other lesser options include probation or even making restitution. The penalty really depends on the severity of the case and the criminal history of the person or persons involved.

Northwestern Hospital Employees Fired For Accessing Jussie Smollett’s Medical Records Say They Didn’t Do It

Another ex employee is also angry.

“It hurts after being there for 20 years!” the former customer service specialist said.

She said she actually had authorization to enter Smollett’s chart to complete and release it. She was fired weeks later for going into his chart without proper authorization, which she doesn’t understand.

“Long as there is a release on file that gives me authorization to go into that patient’s chart to retrieve the records that they’re asking for and release them, and I had that authorization in hand, no question about it,” she said.

Sources tell CBS 2 that 60 or more employees may have lost their jobs over the Smollett matter, but Northwestern will not confirm that.

Someone has enough clout to pressure Northwestern to fire employees. Can't have people questioning the official story

Were they releasing it to authorities via warrant or investigation? If so...she and 60 others should sue.

One of the employees they spoke with was just doing her job. I worked in a Pathology lab and I know that people snoop in medical records and that isn't right but just because his name was on your monitor doesn't mean you were up to something nefarious.
