Keep the rice. Got a Filipina friend that runs a lumpia (vs taco) truck, and Wal Mart sells kimchee. And not to offend the dog lovers but done that too. But f&#k a buncha balut!
Kimchee is good eating. The spicier, the better!

your ass must love you

Their technology is always 5 years ahead of ours, on principle.
They dont need us to spoon them anything.
China too.
Can't speak for other Asian countries though

Yeah right. And who just lost an US-built F-35??? "I'll take another F-35 for $94M, Alex."

I've done my time up in Misawa and out on Okinawa as well as Korea. It's a matter of recognizing the ancient culture/customs. Gonna be hard to convince me otherwise.

China is a tech advanced super power now

Yeah, tech advanced with our tech. The Chinese (country not people) aren't a particularly creative bunch. They have to steal or buy any innovative advancements.

Trump is doing his best to purge the US of, Clinton/Feinstein/Obama sponsored, Chinese industrial Spies.

To be fair, Russia still reigns supreme over time for cloning US aircraft. But the Tu-4 came only after China turned over the wreckage from Dolittle's raid.

And does this IL-38 look vaguely familiar?

But give the Chinese their due credit:

I know what's there

Yeah, yeah I know. Visited Hiroshima while we had a static display at Iwakuni. Didn't get any good vibes there either. And when we stopped in Yokosuka, we had to take our squadron plaque down so the locals wouldn't get offended. The best thing to come out of Japan is real kobe beef.

People think Japan invented camera optics. The technology began with German engineers teaching the Japanese how to build periscopes and binoculars during WWII. It's those Germans again. And, look what Merkel is doing to that country. Islam hasn't contributed to Science / Mathematics in more than a thousand years.

The two largest deposits of optical grade sand in the world are in Germany and Japan. Raw materials breed products.

Their facial recognition tech is off the charts.

Again, our technology being shared and deployed by the google partnership and others (Apple). US deployment is under our legal system. Not the case in China which makes it a great test bed.

Beijing bets on facial recognition in a big drive for total surveillance
Snip
In this effort, the Chinese government is working hand-in-glove with the country’s tech industry, from established giants to plucky start-ups staffed by graduates from top American universities and former employees of companies like Google and Microsoft, who seem cheerfully oblivious to concerns they might be empowering a modern surveillance state.

Nazi Germany invented the first infrared night vision gear such as range finders and other gear... Including a rifle scope I believe.
