I'm a ground-combat machinery aficionado. I know fuck all when it comes to planes. Because I'm scared shitless to fly  Hiding3

Which is a damned good point WS. That's the same exact argument the USAF pilots made to keep their A-10's in Fairbanks vs transition to the F-16. At least they might be able to limp home if one engine sh!t the bed. That's some rough terrain to get stuck in...even if you're intact after ejection.

there is no way in hell I'd fly in a one engine. No way. Maybe if there was a sexy gal holding me or something but other than that NO WAY!

they are trying to systematically ruin our companies that provide us with war materials....drive the stock down and force US to save them...or steal the company out right....

I don't trust the JAPS to turn on us and join China...

they wanted and F-35 and thought Turkey was going to give it to them....Instead I say they just flew one to them... and acted as If the crash happened....

I don't trust them.....and why cant we fix the fucking thing....if we can cancel the fucking contract and work on a new plane to buy....

Somehow, I don't think that'll happen. Between them, China, and Korea, there's long-lasting butthurt from WWII.

And besides, the F-35 was built to be sold around the world to anyone they could convince that their F-16s were worn out. That's why the MIC shut down production of the F-22 rather than just restricting it to US sales. Follow the $$$.

Regardless of geopolitics, everyone in Asia hates the Koreans. It goes way back. I think the Chinese hate Koreans much more that they hate the Japanese (WWII).

Yeah, when it comes to outright racist behavior, the Asians are the most racist people on the planet.

I have to disagree my friend. The Japs murdered the Chinese by the millions. The Chinese sent hundreds of thousands of volunteers to Korea during the Korean war. The Chinese and Korean's are good friends. What's really interesting about the Chinese campaign during WW2 is that the Nationalist's and the Communists united to fight the Japanese after the invasion. Then after the Japanese were defeated, the Nationalists and the Communists wen't right back to war with each other. Chuckle

Saw that over at Alert 5. The SCS bears watching. Both the US and Russia have been supplying the PI with arms and aircraft this past year and both have been making port calls in Subic.

Can't say I trust Duterte though. He's been getting snarky when it comes to fighting the Taliban/ISIS/Muslims in the islands. Plus there's a hot dispute between him and China over an island or two barely 20nm from the relatively new Chinese base.

But did you see the LCAC's evacuating Americans from Libya the other day? Couldn't fly them out since the Tripoli airport was under attack. Chuckle Must've been a gator freighter in the neighborhood. October surprise, brother...I'm calling it now.

I was referring to people..populations not governments. This hatred goes back before WW 2. I don't know the reason for it. I have many Asian friends (SF) including some Korean ..and they all agree on this. The Japanese did horrible things to the Chinese during WW2 and the Chinese remember it. But today, you find many Chinese / Japanese marriages. I don't know of any involving Koreans and another Asian group.

Maybe someone who has lived or lives in Asia can explain this.
