@OldWhiteGuy Where have you been? Hugs

I have about an acre to mow. I hired someone to do it for me when my riding lawnmower broke. It's a lot less expensive that way for me.

Yea I Almost started a thread yesterday called, "Has anyone heard from OWG?"

I actually like to mow, always took pretty decent care of the yard, but never to too over the top with it. Last year, two younger guys, maybe 20-25 pulled into our neighborhood with an older but clean truck, a trailer and some fairly decent, used lawn equipment. They were trying to start up their own business and and seemed very excited and eager about their decision. As one of their very first Customers, they offered to mow, trim and blow off the driveway for $35.

I looked over at my trusty John Deere 110 rider, then back at the two guys and said "sure".

They've done a good job and it looks like their business is doing fine :)

My husband works 14 hour days regularly and while I try to help out sometimes he would prefer I wasn't out in the heat doing what he calls his job. Our lawn gets a little ugly but it's not like the grass is a foot high. We never let it get that bad.

I prefer to let mine grow out a bit between mowings but our landlord wont let me. He wont let me have a riding mower either-I love them- because he prefers to have it paid to be done. Eyeroll
I have the prettiest yard by modern standard but I think it's dull.
