When you understand that there is a god of this world (earth) and there is a CREATOR GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, then you will begin to understand Christianity.  One of them is the Father of all lies and Death; the other the Father of ALL Life and Truth.

Your liberal talking point about population is one of those lies.

So is the concept that All will die.

True Christianity like that recorded in the Book of Acts is alive and well today among Believers.  It is not "esoteric", but practical, actual, factual; demonstrated in a quiet unassuming way, giving ALL GLORY to THE CREATOR.

I never said i dont believe in a creator or even a god.
What i dont believe is any religions that are practiced today. I am eager to learn what i can but what i despise is those brainwashed by the bible.

So it's just Christianity you despise. Got it.

No it isn't.

Can you extrapolate on the claim you made that I quoted in red?

Geez.

Ok, here's the post #21 quote, as it was displayed from post #18:
The sad part about the Abrahamic religions is....they "borrowed" a lot from previous religions/cultures...then tended to wipe them and their knowledge out....So trying to find the truth is such a task.

And here's the red quote:
Saying all the "Abrahamic religions" + "borrowed from previous religions/cultures" is the TRICK.
(to you saying I'm playing a trick)

So. This is what happens when nobody can extrapolate.

You could have simply said, "No. I don't want to extrapolate on my words quoted in red.

I think people besides myself seen your trick question and don't want to deal with it either.

Call it going in circles all you wish.

Some just don't want to be bothered with trick questions.

Oh no! Someone disagreed with my opinion. Scream1

You do understand that you had a choice to either laugh or to feel insulted?

Then you used that choice as an excuse to insult Nekro. 'Why pick at the speck in your brothers eye when there's a log in your own?'

Hypocrite much?

You really should avoid reading these types of threads if your beliefs are that fragile that you're unable to debate like an adult & so easily triggered.

If you believe in God and seek a relationship with him you will have one, regardless of your "religion".  You will start to see the truth if you seek that relationship.

This OP is trying to make you question "Religion".  We should all question religion, I agree.

There is a big difference in questioning the existence of God and question a certain religion, but these threads all turn into a big cluster of both and get off topic way fast.

I think the reason they turn into arguments is because many people don't think there should be any questions so therefore, nothing to discuss. That is fine for people whose minds are completely made up but then there are the rest of us.
I finally sat down to listen to the video. Astrotheology is a tough subject for some to wrap their minds around but it does fill in so many gaps. I already know where they are going with the rest of the series so I've subscribed.
I really need to go back over Irish Origins again daydream
All religious scripture, regardless of the religion,is written by man. So of course there is always room for interpretation and discussion.
1dunno1 why people need to argue about it unless someone gets downright insulting.

It took me quite a while before I realised that the Christians that really give their religion a bad name are the Apologists.
Apologists are incapable of holding honest debate & think that they have the right to insult those who disagree as a matter-off-course. Facepalm

Many Christians are too fearful to even face the possibility that church doctrine & the Bible contain falsehoods. It's an 'all or nothing' attitude because they fear if they pick at one loose thread, then the whole thing will come undone.
This is exactly why corrupt & immoral early churchmen designed Christian doctrine as a doctrine of fear. 'Do not question. Follow the rules and maybe, just maybe, God will not shit on you from a great height.'

It's sad. My parents are so full of fear regarding God that they turned their backs on me for daring to even question the Bible.
Rather than being able to see that I've broken through the falsehoods & am able to see a bigger picture that actually makes sense, they see me as an irredeemably lost cause who is now in the clutches of the fictional boogy-man.

Never underestimate the power of fear, without which, Christianity would have collapsed a long time ago.
