The two that we're narrowed down to both have very nice interiors(and exteriors).  Both are diesel pushers, one is 16 years old. fiberglass roof no leaks ever, 6 speed Allison, solid oak interior and floor, 54K miles. The other is a 21 year old Bluebird with a metal roof, big Detroit Diesel, 6 speed Allison, all new interior, and 67k miles.  Both have diesel generators(Onan), roof and dash air, air ride, levelers, etc.

I like Bluebirds but 21 years is over the age limit for a lot of place unless it looks really, really good. What brand is the other?
Another thing to think about is pop-outs. Back in the day they had tenancy to leak so that's something to check for if they have that.

Neither has a popout, which is good . The other is a Safari. Of the two, the old Bluebird is the best inside and out. Solid wood inside, all metal outside, and garage kept when not in use. Tires are 3 years old with 80% tread left.

Remember that within in one month of buying it universal laws will kick in and it will need $5,000 in work just to get it moving. The tires will go flat and within a year you will discover the former owner used Pennzoil in it and changed the oil every 50,000 miles and never worried about the lifetime oil filter. You will discover the transmission fluid was never changed and it will need a full rebuild. Then the ball joints and tie rod ends will go bad along with three wheel bearings. Then there will be a recall because the gas tank explodes randomly for no reason. Once you have that all fixed it will start to rust and the rust will spread like cancer at a nuke plant.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.  RIGHT THERE.

Thanks, Trollalotta.

8V92 engine. Pretty sure it's a turbo.
