I remember when I was young my friend Bruce bought a single shot shotgun and we used to go out in the woods cause I lived out in the country and  my friends were in town.  We would go out in the field and shoot various things, mice mainly, one time my friend Paul accidentally shot a duck with his bb gun.  The BB went into the birds spine and it must have sccrewed up its motor skills cause it flew backwards.  So my friends got stopped by the police on the way to pick me up and they asked them where they were going and they didn't want to walk home with a dead duck killed out of season.  So they buried it there.

Anyways when Bruce first got this shot gun we went out in the country, and he never owned one before so he thought you shoot it like a rifle, so he held it to his cheeck and when it recoiled it gave him a nose bleed.  I don't think it broke his nose though, he was lucky.

I bought 200 rounds of 357 SIG ammo for next Saturday, gonna zero in the JPoint sight and break in the gun for the first time, 357 SIG has same power as 357 MAG, I put a recoil compensator on the end of the barrel, it reduces recoil by 30% and keeps the muzzle from jumping up too much, recoil will be much like a 9MM+P.

Love your choice for the camo pattern. Doesn't look like everyone else's.

It's a Polymer 80 frame with aftermarket Gen 3 parts, like this one, but the earlier model that's been discontinued.

I sat down with some painters tape, a sheet of aluminum, a pencil, and a razor knife and made a random 'urban camo' pattern and went from there with the Cerakote ceramic paint.

You obviously really love your weapon Weasel Keeper. Besides my personal concerns about guns in homes I really can't fathom an object being more uninteresting. If hitting a target is your thing there is always darts. It's at least a social game. Chuckle

By the way really cute squirrel. They may be pests in your country but I think Aussies view them like perhaps you view koalas or kangaroos. I hope its thriving.
