Cabinets go up tomorrow. Then I can finish putting up the big vines. I have some boring old church stuff, armoire, desk.

I’m going to have to paint them and make them gorgeous. Mr Foss offered to make some Lasercut wooden appliqués to add to them.

daydream That is so beautiful. You've got a knack for this Cheer

Got the cabinets up and the furniture in. Now the fun begins!
You know that desk is a Hooker. Its quite nice although it’s dirty atm.
Little secret, the Lds periodically update their offices and other buildings. they buy the good stuff but they throw this old stuff in the dump! I can’t tell you how many desks, tables, armoires, chairs I have dumped. They used to be stingy and not let anyone have it   They threw away a whole set of gym risers one day! Facepalm

I know this because my husbands family is Mormon and their business is doing everything in the buildings ( which is what they call their churches) even coating the BB gym floors.

So if you ever drive by and see them carting out stuff, stop and ask for it. They will likely give it to you. Thats where I got all this stuff and its solid oak.  They were cleaning out the furniture from one of the mission homes and Mr Foss brought me an 8 piece dining table too!  He said “you should see all we threw away!  Facepalm So I still only have about $35 in this room now.  Cheer
I will have to buy some thin Birch to make all the appliques. More paint, maybe   But for now I have to go clean it and de-recluse it.  Scream1

Now I can finish putting up more vines. I think tonight I’ll make some salt dough and practice sculpting neat little mushrooms. I saw this and knew I had to try it!

I thought salt dough might work really well for this

You're a creative, talented designer. Maybe you can find a small water feature.

Thank you! Hugs I have a couple but find that trickling water sounds bugs the heck out of me. But I do like the sound of water falling in a cave, that hollow sound. Yeah3

I even thought it might be cool to buy a mushroom growing kit and try to grow some in there for real! But thats so far down the road.
