I'll go out on a limb and say it turns and hits right over Norfolk VA and headed right up the Potomac to Washington DC...

Norfolk Naval Yard...

shoves the water up the bay and floods Washington....

It could also go into the Gulf according to that first track. Jebus Facepalm I'd rather have her off of my coast than see those folks go through more.

A slightly more northerly track increases the likelihood of it missing Fla. and making landfall further up the coast. One model predicted landfall around Virginia Beach as a Cat 5 with the storm tracking up the length of Chesapeake Bay. If tha were to happen, DC and Baltimore would be devastated and Philly would be seriously impacted.
