Well, it's been fun.
I got to be here for "the glory days" of common people having kingly foods, homes, and devices. I have no children, so no worries for the future. I know, this is a stop over, not my real home.

As a kid I wanted to "fix" the world. As an adult, I realize I cannot, and there are many paths to walk for a reason.

God gave the earth a mighty spin, and it will continue to be, long after you and me. We may be a tiny step on the path to evolved beings, and not an end at all. The Ants might actually have it right.

Who do you think will win the battle, Earth or the Humans?

This is like asking who wins the battle between fentanyl and the body.
No winners. Result is Mars or Venus. Humanity looks right at them, our nearest planetary
neighbors, dead and done, and still won't adjust. Because the economy. Jobs. Facepalm

I remember being in school in the 70's and I was all excited that we were entering a new ice age. That never happened either.

A little FYI to Americans... you don't have to be anti-science and anti-environment if you want to stay identified with the right of the political spectrum. That false dichotomy is an intentional setup.

It is only in the most recent decades that the pro-conservationist and environmental concerns were pushed left-of-center. Teddy Roosevelt and Richard Nixon, two Republican conservatives, were the most pro-environment presidents in American history.

Europe is rejecting the attempt to continue pigeonholing the right into continuing its natural destruction policies.

PARIS – Italy's hard-line interior minister and France's far-right leader are cementing their longtime alliance ahead of Europe-wide elections next month and said they will press for like-minded candidates in Europe to join their "family."

Matteo Salvini and Marine Le Pen discussed work, family and environmental protection as major themes in the upcoming vote, which will determine the makeup of the European Parliament in Brussels, Salvini's office said.

They met on Friday in Paris ahead of the G-7 meeting of interior ministers. Both Le Pen's National Rally party and Salvini's League have railed against the power wielded by the European Union's governing body, especially when it comes to immigration.

Both parties — as well as others on Europe's right — could make gains in the late May elections, according to recent polling.

Humans will never destroy the Earth. Might leave a scar or two but...the planet will survive.

On the other hand, I do indeed fall on the side of a mini-ice age coming. And ain't squat any of us can do about that.
