How is a National Emergency different from Martial Law?
#11
I'm not sure.
Just trying to think about all the bureaucracy, red tape and loop holes shits me to tears.
Why does everything in western society have to be so damned confusing?

1dunno1 I do know that on this end of the state, there has been a lot of movement is the air.
I'm used to hearing them sometimes but lately, every night.

A National Emergency is a power congress granted to the president.(unwisely and arguably unconstitutionally)

Martial Law is dictatorship and lawlessness.

I believe the difference is under an emergency, they do not post the military on street corners with M16's And a tank with rubber treads every few blocks. Also under the state of emergency there will probably be no curfew. A curfew is bad, bad for business. No restrictions on travel.
