It appears a contingent of coffee puritans have recently come down with a case of the jellys.  In an unprecedented display of the dangers of groupthink and bandwagoning, a remarkable new method for delivering quality, caffeinated brew to consumers in the smart appliance age is now on the defensive.  We asked current Keurig users to offer a testimonial rebuttal to these new and ongoing spurious developments, with many of these pro-Keurig supporters having been mobilized into organizing street demonstrations as a counter-reaction to the existential threat the Anti-keurig contingent poses...

Keurig K cups : Pros and Cons

I don't use those disposable k-cups, i use that refillable plastic k-cup and I put ground coffee in it. I have a big stash of coffee though. It used to be my favorite thing to drink.

The first one I bought from a pawn shop and it died really fast after that, so I have a brand new one now. I wouldn't recommend buying stuff from a pawn shop. I have had very bad luck with that.

We got a Keurig maybe 2 months ago.  I like it, but I'll admit to ignorance regarding some of its detractions.  Maybe I'll change my mind with more investigation, but for now it was a welcome replacement from our old Mr. Coffee Coffee

I'm a spaz, ocd when it comes to recycling, anyhow, so I feel I've earned a right to use an allegedly non-biodegadable k-cup (perhaps I should look into purchasing the biodegradable ones in the future, however).

It's a little 'labor' and water use intensive to clean the reusable filter, but that probably is better to use, from an environmental waste standpoint.

Yeah you said to drink 3 cups of coffee a day, so I have this big Bubba mug and I can fit 3 cups in there, but the reusable cups are hot when they are done and the coffee grains are hot

The court house I went to have those Keurig machines. The selection of flavors is garbage.
