Jesus the Jewish healer chose his closest companions for our integrity of heart and trustful loyalty - the great works! John 18:37, “Every one that is of the truth, heareth My voice.” The love that was poured out, did you see how they ran when magnanimous love arrived. The power of love that is infectious; they tried hard not to catch it - in case they had to become love themselves. Heartflowers

I've been drinking some elderflower it tastes just like wine, it's lovely.

My tomatoes were an almost total bust this year, except for some delicious grape tomatoes. They'd look ready to go and be just rotten inside. Might be time to beef up the soil again. Fortunately, I was able to find some good organic tomatoes locally at a decent price (really nice looking - and tasting - "seconds" for about 70 cents a pound) so I was able to hear my favorite sound again today...

I freaking LOVE canning!!! Yeah3

Beautiful day in the UK today, weather men said it would be a storm, we had blue skies and sunshine all day where I am. Garden loved it. It's been at least 25c and 23c is predicted for tomorrow. Humidity 63%, could be a sunny week.

Sorted out the saffron bulbs from last year to put back in and some of the babies from the bulbs had already sprouted and rooted ready to go, so those are in. Those that haven't sprouted I watered to see if they will provide any roots or sprouts.

Hung up to dry what was left from the celery that went in during 2017 today, going to try to get some celery seeds from it once it's dried for next year.

I'm so happy with my capsicum grown from seed this year they're at least two feet tall and fruit has arrived.

Potatoes growing really fast.

Ginger don't seem to be doing much.

Tomatoes and cucumbers still coming.

Herbs are doing brilliant and celery.

Pak choi doing great.

Beetroot has to get pulled.

I'm happy with my produce and growth in my 2nd year of learning about food growing.

Had about the same luck. Had a ton of tomatoes this year but they had no taste, the only ones that did have any taste were our cherry tomatoes but had to pick them before they were ripe so they would not split. We had a ton of rain this summer.

The goji's are getting fruit on them in their first year. Chuckle

We had a lot of wind this morning, big beef tomato had gone over, lavender had gone over.

Have trimmed the tomato beef plant and made it more secure again.

Taken the beef tomatoes off the plant to give the others a chance, although they still have to ripen.

Not long now before I have to take off the rest of the tomatoes, although I could bring the tumblers inside because they are small enough containers to do so.

Had to get rid of more slugs again today. Fed all of the food growing containers. Although I don't think that goji likes being fed - so I stopped feeding those.

Lettuces are doing growing under cover.

Tarragon has grown so large that it will have to go into a bigger container, one of the original capsicum too, it's outgrown it's bucket.

Apple tree likes this weather, it's growing really fast now. Lots of new branches on the blueberry bush too.

Red current is doing nothing, second year I bought a red current, same situation. Looks like I will end up throwing another red current away.

This guys goji's are four years old. It's a great plant for hedging.

Wind broken cucumber branch so two cucumbers have gone with that.

Covered it over with clear plastic hopefully that will protect it more until these stormy winds are over.

Otherwise I will to move it into the temporary greenhouse and bring capsicum inside to make room for it.
