While my internet was off this evening, I began to make Christmas decorations with the heads of the sunflowers that have had the seeds removed now.

They look lovely.

It reminded me of my mum she used to paint the cones that we collected in the park land.

One year when she was having to be frugal and we couldn't afford a real tree.

Mum and dad brought home a large branch and she painted it white.

It look so pretty after she had decorated it.

You will love this guys, the church is on the gin.

(CHRISTIAN TODAY) – A North of England cathedral is harking back to medieval times today with the launch of its own brand of gin.

Branded ‘Cathedra’ and made by Brindle Distillery in Lancashire, Blackburn Cathedral’s gin is aimed at capitalising on the gun revival and generating revenue for the cathedral’s ministry.

Is it biblical?

Yes.

Bible says that Juniper trees will be growing everywhere.

I haven't  found one that I fancy yet, the ones that I looked at, were either eco property only development e.g. investment community. Or spiritual community full of vegetarians and vegans. Or too close to the sea.  Or land that requires a builder and I'm not a constructionist.

I'd like to live on a proper working from, like Jesus did, a health farm, with a bit of luxury hot tub etc, with enough space to run some workshops and training courses.

Now would anyone like to buy me a farm or a field for my birthday in 2019?

I've even found locations in Greece that have got my name.

Hi, I just discovered this thread. New to the community and love gardening and intentional community concepts.

Here's one I have a connection to you might enjoy taking a look at: https://www.ic.org/directory/the-village...nee-creek/
The founder was/is into CT and was a prominent businessman.
The reason you have a hard time trusting your intuition is because you are still convinced that some outside authority knows better than you.

Welcome to our lovely thread where gardeners become farmers.

It's been a bit quiet because people have been busy with the mid-terms and not much is growing this time of the year. Although I do have to get off this forum this weekend and start packing the containers so that they don't get drenched.

I will take a look at your link, thank you, although all the signs are keeping me in Europe. I can't turn my back on Europe and our historical cultures now. So it's most likely to be in southern Europe because my body requires a hotter climate for vitality. Somewhere has been recommended, it looks stunning, going to take a look at the location in 2019.

I agree with what they're doing, we certainly do require more Judeo-Christian intentional communities where a mystic like myself could fit in.

I can cook, I can grow, and I love farming. In a hotter climate I could grow food all year round.

Update on the latest research on the best way to get the best nutrients from your sweet potatoes.

Been in the garden today, brought in all the adult capsicum, (they still have fruit on) and chilli, put them in my healing room.

Moved the temporary greenhouses so they have more shelter. To store what plants can survive in those.

Have to bring the apple tree and olive tree closer to me under some shielding as they are getting drenched in all of this rain.

Can you believe it the last of the strawberries are ripening. And goji's keep on appearing and ripening.

Weathermen say that we are in for some freezing weather, so it will be interesting to see how the goji's survive it.
