You can enter your address or just your zip code, or somebody else's.

And it will show you all of the FCC licensed towers and transmitters within that area.

Use it while you can, because 5G won't be licensed.

For example, I noticed when I pulled into the parking lot of this public library, there is a tower next to the park that only has three antennas.

One pointed at the library.

One pointed at the trailer park to the East.

One pointed to the poor neighborhood to the West.

I have never ever seen such an unpopulated tower.

Three bars?

Is that all?

So I looked a bit closer and there isn't a data room next to this tower at all.

Where are the servers?

What are these three little bars FOR?

Who owns them?

https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stock...apId=97963

Somebody in Alexandria Virginia.

Go figure.

You have three bars?

Drinks

Where Might I find one?

would be nice to have a controlled overload of said tower

yeah a burner fone or a 5 g iot transmitter just asking for data

I'll sell you my genuine Star Trek phaser for $1200 and you can smoke that antenna in seconds!  Lmao

Won't happen.

Chuckle

Why not. I've done similar with good success.

Tell me why what I did that worked, didn't work..

This should be good!

You overloaded a cell tower?

You overloaded a cell tower?

Not overloaded, as in receiver sent off frequency by the Capture Effect, but turned it off briefly..ie, shut it completely off. This was done with a law enforcement official present. No details on here. It wouldn't be wise.

So, now tell me how this isn't possible !

@phxsparks

Sure that's possible.

I just don't see how a cone reflector connected to a cell phone will do anything to a tower with dozens of antennae on it aimed different directions.

I suggest you go back and read the original posts carefully.

I've used small parabolic reflectors to access towers when the signal strength was low. This has nothing to do with that technique.

You don't know, what you don't know.

You aren't telling me anything.

And that's fine.

I know several ways of jamming things, but it's illegal and most of them cause as much arm or more as the signal I'd want to jam anyway.

And I'm not going to share those either because doing it would be illegal.

Next time you notice one of these:

A really jam-packed tower full of all kinds of antennae.....

Look around near it and see if you see one of these:

Then look up the towers and tell me which one is owned by a company in Virginia.

Cell sites often have many receivers. Many host more than one provider. Nothing was jammed. That's all I'll say on the topic other than, we took it down twice for about 20 seconds each time, about 3 minutes apart.
