Free Sirius XM Radio Channels Now On Inactive Radios.
#1
Starting now all the way through Tuesday, June 4th you can get Sirius XM for
free. This is a great treat for the Memorial Day Weekend and they often offer
this out as a promotional every year like clockwork. Last time, they allowed for
the free app on your smart phone. Unknown this time.

Qualifier: They usually limit the list to Sirius Select...so you will not get all the
premium channels like Howard Stern. You will get ALL the New channels for your
entertainment enjoyment AND most of the comedy channels.

Disclaimer: I , @BadBrad , do not receive any compensation for this post. Nothing.
No money, services, or even sex favors. Nothing. I do this as I have had a lifetime
subscription since the opening days of 2006. Paid just $500 for it....and all my co-workers
laughed at me saying it was an overpriced waste of money. Let's see. Some football players
math here says $500 / by 13 years = $38. Who's laughing now? And I do get the premium
channels for that.

If this thread survives, I will post b.s. on the topic as the free period continues.
Please, please, please listen to CNN & MSNBC so that you can hear the communications of
space aliens from another planet. Better than the comedy channels.

The reason I put the word "signals" in the title is you DO NOT
get a free radio. This is aimed at people who have an inactive car
radio or wi-fi radio, or receiver. Yeah, they want you to subscribe but
nothing is expected of you other than turn it on if it is inactive. Come
June 4th, it goes dark again. Just wait for another free time if you are
broke or cheap.

Always the faithful Dead Heads listening to their hymns. I have
one of their songs in my head now. Can't get it out because of you.
Thanks a lot.

All music on Sirius Radio is commercial free. This is why I signed
up for it years ago. And I am cheap like Jack Benny. It was not,
as rumored, that I wanted Howard Stern. He was just a bonus.

Interesting. I used to play the hell out of Sirius. I have an hour of drivetime everyday, and now prefer to listen to podcasts, so I let my subscription lapse

I let mine go too. Now they're sending me offers for $50 / year.

I can listen on a smartphone or computer station if wi-fi
and/or internet is available. I am cheap and do not like to
burn up my data. Wi-Fi is so much better on my pocketbook
with with a quality signal. There are many stations on the
Sirius wi-fi that one can not get on the satellite only. Vis-versa
some things on satellite do not translate to the internet listening.
Oh, well.
One of my things is to hit the app on my apple phone and turn
on the Bluetooth. Get a signal going to my little portable JBL
Charge3 and we are rocking with some quality audio. The speakers
on most phones leave a lot to be desired. Hence, the reason God
made Bluetooth.
I am currently listening to Alt Nation Channel 36. They have a concert
going in Cali... Bottle Rocket Fest. They are covering a bunch of it LIVE.
Also, I must multi-task as the damn tornados in Okieland are kicking in.
Trying to watch TV 9 as well. Later tonight, while at work, it looks
like I am fixin' to get good and wet.

Coast to Coast AM is available on Road Dog Trucking
Channel #146 every night. Actually it is early morning
from Midnight to 4 am CST.
Some good topics coming up provided you don't get
too scared listening in the dark, night owls.

Yes, I did good and wet while at work tonight. I tried
timing things using weather radar. No luck. It justs rains.
Where are we going to put all this water?

I like Sirius XM, I have it in both my vehicles and I got one of those boomboxes too, I like to listen to Ozzy and my wife likes Elvis, they both have their own channels. Basically though, we just get it for the Elvis thing.
