It's amazing the difference a few miles can make. I used to go for lunch with my friend to a restaurant that was right next to the bridge where that river came up out of it's banks. It's really sad to see that town destroyed. It really is a nice little town where you could walk anytime day or night and never have anything to fear. It was like it was forever 1955 there.

Same thing happened here last summer.. Phoenix was flooded... Cars stranded, people died.. And I didn't get a drop of rain where I am.

Was going to ask you about that.  Monsoon season.  Did think about you with that.  The other AZ person I dig. (You know who I am referring to) as well.
Weird weather.  Floods in parts of OK.  Drought in other parts.  Rained here in Mo.  Enough to wet the parched stuff.  15 miles north, it was floods.  An hour south, it was serious rain and floods. Did I not read all of this or has no one asked?  Is that a long term normal weather pattern there?  Fork?  Pope?  Only been to MD once.  Fredericksburg.  So to me that is my only point of reference.
