looks like a good storm starting up!

It was definitely raining over there at area 51.  We elected not to drive the 13 miles down that road just to see the signs.

The black mailbox was a disappointment.

Its not going to happen, the military has constant patrols 24/7, out in the desert,to stop anyone who trys it.
You'd have to sneak about 12 miles along a gravel road, to get to an outgrop that overlooks area 51.
Still, you'd have to have about a 600X telescope to see the outside of the buildings.
And, since they do all the secret stuff underground, you still wouldn't see anything.

I just loved having the experience.  It beats sitting at home living life via YouTube videos.

Also, in 1953, I was 11, I went swimming in the Great Salt lake. That was probably about
the last time you could go swimming there.I don't even think there is a lake there anymore.
The water came up to my neck. You couldn't dip your head under, because, no matter how tight you closed your lips,
salt would still sneak in. You couldn't dive in either, if you tried it, you'd get knocked out.

I think it was the salt lake, my brother told me no one can swim in it anymore because of bacteria!?
