Most are more controllable that way! you stay focused on your self or your life or your families life and NOT on them so they do as they wish and rarely ever get caught.

Years ago I bought a big bag of Splenda to use in baking and as a sweetener. A few days later learned it was poison and it got pushed to the back of the cabinet. Recently we have ended up with ants coming in the house and I have been using it to kill them off. Kills them dead!
Drank lots of diet Dew, which is aspartame, which is only slightly better than Splenda but still poison and just gave it up. I'd hoped that by giving it up the asthma might go away, it all started up about the time I gave up regular Pepsi, which I had been drinking since high school and wanted to lose weight. Thought I was doing a good thing for short term but.....lol got addicted to that too. So far asthma is still there, but only been a week. Might take a few months -- if that was the problem.

Now, Stevia and erythritol seem to be an okay blend to make my iced teas taste good. Stevia alone has an after taste I just can't handle and erythritol is too expensive on its own so I use a little of both with my tea and it seems to be working. I take two black tea bags, two green tea bags and 3 flavored tea bags (right now I am really liking the wild berry), let them brew for an hours and fill up 2 liter bottle and keep in the fridge for me to drink all day. It is strong, put over ice and half water - there ya go.

For baking, from now on, just regular sugar. The artificial crap is killing us.

We use a blend of Stevia and add some cane sugar to sweeten our tea, and over the years we have bought Stevia from different places and some have after taste and others don't.
My Mom drank lots of diet rite cola and she developed breast cancer, I attribute the cancer to her drinking lots of it.

I used to like kid cereals, but I no longer eat them, since they are lowering the real sugar and using the fake sugars and hfcs to bump up the sweet. I can tell, and it is not appealing anymore on the pallette. They are also adding fiber to pad the numbers and it tastes like grit.

I wish for old fashioned Capn crunch. Full sugar, full fat and scrumptious.

I wouldn't doubt it at all, the cancer that is.

My theory is it is all a virus (cancer that is) and certain people are more susceptible. All the junk they put in our foods are done on purpose to lower our immune system so more and more people are susceptible. Think DNA, they are changing it with GMO's and the artificial sweeteners are adding to the cancer epidemic.

Cancer used to be an old persons thing. Then you'd hear of a really rare kid getting it. Now? Everyone else getting cancer. There is something big time wrong going on and only some are seeing it.

Have you heard of this and if so does it grow in your area?
This grows in our area and my wife adds some to MY tea and it seems to do many things for me, and NOPE i don't have any std's LOL it has many other uses and one of those is for asthma, so I thought i would pass this along in case you have access to it and wished to ad some to your tea.

Medicinal use of Mormon Tea:
This plant has a wide reputation as a cure for syphilis. A strong decoction of the stems was drunk and a poultice of the pulverized or boiled stems applied to the sores. The stems are blood purifier, diuretic and tonic. An infusion has been used in the treatment of coughs and colds, anaemia, rheumatism, stomach ulcers and other disorders, kidney problems. The dried, powdered stems are used as a dressing on sores and burns. The stems of most members of this genus contain the alkaloid ephedrine and are valuable in the treatment of asthma and many other complaints of the respiratory system. The whole plant can be used at much lower concentrations than the isolated constituents - unlike using the isolated ephedrine, using the whole plant rarely gives rise to side-effects. Ephedra does not cure asthma but in many cases it is very effective in treating the symptoms and thus making life somewhat easier for the sufferer. The stems can be used fresh or dried and are usually made into a tea, though they can also be eaten raw. The young stems are best if eating them raw, though older stems can be used if a tea is made. The stems can be harvested at any time of the year and are dried for later use.

Splenda
Equal
Sweet&Low

Chemical shit, that wreaks havock on our systems.
Splenda is mostly chlorine.

Agreed! I have taken to putting two tablespoons of shredded baking coconut with dark chocolate chips in a dish, and nibbling off that. Checkout counter candy is much less yummy than it used to be. I still like recees' cups.
