That is an issue I am wondering about. I am on a limited income so I need the most bang for my buck. Having a 16y/o g and a 12y/o b I don’t needa be stoned all the time, however not being able to get up from a chair or bed is not any good either!!

Oh yeah, by the way,  I noticed in my research that there are CBD products for dogs (and cats)! Does anyone have experience with this?  When my last dog aged out, the vet gave he doggie Tylenol that didn’t work, then tramadol which help a little. At about $90.

Thanks again for y’alls help!

The Terpene Flavors are nice . Dissolves into Hemp Seed oil overnight with a shake or two. 60 ml bottles with 1 cc dropper . 2 to 3 Droppers per day really keeps Me pain free . 1 in the AM and 2 a little before bed if I ' ve been active that day .

Sleep like a baby .

Cannabis is a fruit, and just as any fruit, ingesting it in its raw form will maximize the benefits. Cannabinoids aren't unlike the phytonutrients we find in all fruits and vegetables. There are over thousands of different cannabinoids in each bud of the plant and hundreds have already been named and categorized.

Preferably, for optimum effects, you might want to avoid supplements and extracts as certain cannabinoids work synergistically.

CBD does wonder on its own, and you will easily find some CBD oil on the net, but THC is very important. What most people don't know, is that actually, THC only becomes psychoactive once heated at a certain temperature. Raw, THC is called THC Acid.

You can get THC in its raw form via cold pressed virgin Cannabis Oil. The exact same process that we extract olive and coconut from.

I am not up to date as far as what type of products are on the market, though. I hope that it can help a bit.

Edit: I'm pretty sure that Rick Simpson's oil must be similar due to his methods. To make it concise, the keywords are: Raw, Whole, Flower, Extract.

To add: Indeed, and soon enough, mainstream science will establish the bridge in between cannabis, cannabinoids, and plant based crops and their nutrients. It will be common knowledge that a daily dose of cannabinoids greatly helps the body's homeostatic processes. Here's the trick, though; Cannabinoids are in any plant based produces that have seeds. So it's not about gettin stoned! Science also has found and is currently studying similar compounds which have been discovered within maternal milk. They are analyzing what roles those chemical compounds are playing in early development of children. It has been found to be absent from cow's milk. Let's not forget that all humans are born with an endocannbinoid system.

I have been spending about $80.00 a week or so on weed. You can get low THC/ High CBD buds at any good medical dispensary. Those low THC strains will help you during the day when you can't be stoned. For night I use a heavy Indica. It really helps with the pain and knocks my ass out letting me have a good nights sleep. Before weed my feet would be hurting so bad it kept me awake all night long.

One thing to remember about going to a medical dispensary is that they have pharmacists who can advise you on what to try and what dosage to use. They really are there to try and help you with your condition. Prices for medical weed here in PA run from $40.00 to $65.00 a 1/8th ounce. I mostly buy $40 8ths by Terrapin Care farm. Cresco tends to be more expensive but is not better in any way that I can see.

Please keep us updated on how it works out for you. I really hope you find what you need to get some serious relief. You won't get 100% pain relief. If you get a 50% reduction or better you are doing well.

I have been taking 120mg of Green Mountain CBD capsules a day for about 11 months, since all doctors have become pussies when it comes to prescribing pain meds. It makes my pain levels tolerable, but nothing like smoking/eating cannabis.

For topical application for my knees, I use Blue Ridge Hemp Co CBD infused salve. I didn’t trust it but my lady made me try it.....works frigging GREAT! You don’t need much of the stuff though. Use about the same amount as you would use chapstick on your lips but on a body part. A really light coating does the trick for me.

Maybe you can learn to make your own oil and then take it as needed or mix with olive oil and coconut oil to make a salve? From what I read, it ain’t hard.
