Do Not Buy the Green Salsa From the Mexicans Selling Producie on the Side of the Road.
#61
I like playing Russian roulette with the roasted jalapenos at Don Fransisco.

There's a good local Mexican restaurant here, and the properly roasted ones are mild.

But some of the staff play a little game with us gringos.

Slip you a fireball.

Also who knows how they make that stuff. Probably breaking every health code in the book. The best thing for you is they didn't wash their hands after picking their ass before making your food.

Yeah3

Yeah

Yep, I would never buy anything from anyone I thought might be illegal.
I don't patronize businesses or restaurants I suspect might hire them either.
You're taking your own life in your hands... they're not known for their cleanliness.

That must limit the places you go, you live in california dont you?

Scream1

I live in Oregon and it is somewhat limiting.
I always look at the demographics of the area whenever I move so it's not too bad in this neighborhood.

Hatch green chile, best around, even better IF you can get it roasted from Mesquite wood fire, I grew up on that and beats propane roasted anytime!

I love salsa...
It's the buying off the side of the road that did it.

I don't see the issue with buying from the side of the road. Where I live... you can get all kinds of goodies on the side of the road, including but not limited to seafood, fresh farm eggs, cherries and other fruit. I guess it's a west coast thing.

I live in the PNW and buy from a local mom & pop farmer's stand all the time.
I know they don't hire illegals and their chickens are friendly so I know they're treated well.
I get fish from the Natives when I'm in that area too but I never buy anything from those I think might be illegal.

Oh my, Mesquite makes it perfect. Pinion is also very good.

Here in NM, they have Farmers markets and MOST people are all citizens, they also have Wknd. roadside stands around the cities and those are mostly produce from Mexico brought in by Illegals. just FYI for all to know.
