Dear @Aquarius

Up your intake of magnesium. Avoid the cheap drug store magnesium oxide, it has a low absorption rate. There are others that are more absorbable.
Magnesium citrate
Magnesium threonate (passes the blood/brain barrier)
Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt. don't take it internally, use it for a nice soaking bath or foot soak before bed)
Magnesium chloride (sold as Magnesium oil, rub a little into the back of the knees before going to bed)

Magnesium, Sleep, and Mental Health. Magnesium is well known for its ability to relieve insomnia. One study found that it helps decrease cortisol, the “stress hormone” that can keep you up at night. It also helps muscles relax, to give you that calm “sleepy” feeling and help you unwind after a long day.

Thanks for caring, Loris. Hugs

I've been on the magnesium bandwagon since I was around 29 yo. Which was a long time ago.
And I do take Magnesium citrate, 1/2 teaspoon in the morning and another 1/2 teaspoon in the evening ... plus a whole passel of other supplements.

It's an age thing. I'm nearing 80 yo now, and I remember my parents had trouble falling asleep in their later years.
It's also because since my knees were injured a few months ago I don't get enough exercise !! CgTFBpM
Prior to that I would walk close to a mile a day. Can't do that now. :(

The Epson Salts foot soak is a good suggestion, though, and I will try that.

Dear Diary

Hopefully the information that @SlowLoris gave to my friend @Aquarius will help her sleep. I do believe a soak in Epsom salts will really help.
Also, maybe @Aquarius should get a new plant for her room. http://www.naturallivingideas.com/12-pla...you-sleep/

Oh, I love that !! Cheer
I do have a lot of houseplants, just none in my bedroom.
I have an English Ivy, and I will move that to my bedroom today.

I love the idea of Jasmine in my bedroom !! I will definitely look into that one asap.

Dear Diary... Monday

I only have this one day off to get my work around the house done. I let the Chickens out at dawn and fell back asleep until noon. Damn.
