Dear diary
I'm glad we got new members this week.
I have a bone to pick with gravity. If that's it's real name. Always making me feel fatter then I should be and telling me I can't fly. Who do you think you are?

My sister sent a pattern for a wooden alligator to hang on the fence. I worked in the shop this morning cutting out the pieces until it got too warm and stuffy in there. This afternoon I went back and the band saw blade broke.   Eyeroll

So here I am at the-Fringe.

We need to make a wood working thread!

Dear diary,

Welp, I went to the scratch and dent store yesterday (food items) love that place!

They had large canned tomatoes (paste, whole, crushed) for 3 for a dollar!

I just finished making 3 gallons (12 quarts) of awesome Spaghetti sauce..it comes out to 12c a quart, finished.

My woodworking skills are nowhere near yours, Ish.

I putter around in my little shop and usually make things to give to the grand kids. It keeps me entertained.

I am no Bob villa. I chose to work with 'Rustic' because there is no precedence, no wrong way to do it. Just let the wood move you.

I still love to appreciate others work. I can tell you this, I have never made an alligator!

Beautiful carvings.

..funny you bring that up. I just binged watched a 'master carver' show on Amazon a few weeks back.

I have never carved anything with a chainsaw (or any other way) but I can draw if I am looking at the object.

I believe I can do a chainsaw carving.

I have a dragon head hanging on my wall that I am going to try to carve.

I will keep you posted.

These people are freaking amazing that can do these carvings.

Dear Diary-

I hope all my Fringe Sisters have a lovely week full of smiles. Every day, wake and embrace the beauty. Here is my son watching the sunrise high in the Colorado Mountains! It is a beautiful life and the more I slow down and look around, it is confirmed.
