CNBC was saying this morning that Trump was experiencing PTSD from the election results, that is why he fired Sessions. I had to disagree because I think Session served his purpose now the President wants to go in a different direction.

"It appears the first phase, which just ended, was comprised of two years of slowly exposing each of the Spygate plotters, pulling their fangs and removing them from power, then building cases against them. This could happen while Sessions stayed where he was.

But the next phase won’t work with a recused attorney general. The prosecution phase needs a hands-on overseer who doesn’t have any of the numerous conflicts of interest that hampered Sessions from the day of his swearing-in. There can’t be any conflicts of interest that the defense lawyers and the media can use to attack the state’s case. Another year of Sessions ducking out of the room while deferring all questions about these things to Rosenstein wasn’t going to cut it.

Trump and Sessions both understood that, and that’s why Whitaker was carefully moved into place in advance as Sessions’s chief of staff in September last year. He garnered much interest when he wrote a July 2016 op-ed for USA Today, in which he stated he’d be willing to indict Hillary Clinton for the massive exposure of classified information she caused with her private server. That means they’ve been preparing for this move for at least a year."

Way back in the day the national news came on at 6:00 and got either a half hour or an hour to present the news. That's what they did. If they editorialized it was marked as such.

Now channels have 24 hours/7 days a week to fill and 95% of it is bullshit intermingled with party dogma. Most of it is wild speculation propagated by liberals as fact. They wouldn't know a fact if it jumped up and bit them. The last fact they reported on was Trump's presidency and they couldn't even do that without hate, bitterness, calls for his impeachment even before he was sworn in, and all day films of people crying in the streets.

I honestly don't give a flying fuck what anyone on any news channel says, and that includes 70% of Fox, maybe more like 80%. Its all filler, its garbage, and its designed to be used as a political machete.

How in the hell could anyone on CNBC diagnose anyone with PTSD? They can't. So they spew this garbage out because, after all, they have 23 more hours to fill in with more bullshit.

I agree with you Lilly. Sessions did his job, and the same fucking liberals with an IQ of a mollusk who hated Sessions are now his greatest champions. Like the Fauxapontus quotes in this thread, they will say and do anything to smear Trump to save their asses, which soon will be bits of bacon in a grease fire.
