Some people on here try to frame me as hating the u.s.

These rhetorical arguments are pure nonsense, and my answer was not ambiguous.

I think these men were probably spies, or being used by the u.s state department to get a picture of N.Korea as a condition for granting them leave to work in N.Korea.

I'm not one of those people.  We are all entitled to our viewpoints and beliefs.

With that being said, there is no rule that all have to agree with your positions.

My question was are you glad they have been released(?).  And, if you could please point out the "rhetorical" arguments.  You chose to enter the discussion.  don't twist the narrative to suit yourself.

I never said someone as to agree with me. But it seems sometimes that facts are irrelevant, and that opinions mater more than facts. It's frustrating.

Calling my argument ambiguous appeared to be an attempt at a rhetorical argument against myself. Calling it ambiguous implied I think as I saw it, as if you were calling my answer a non answer.

If it was not, then it was not.

Why can't you just answer the question instead of dancing around in circles?

If you had the ability to think and reason you might be more apt to see the answers for what they are.

the meat and potatoes are really what counts .... hopefully it is coming, i personally have my doubts.

I'm sure being released isn't a "menial token" for those held prisoners. That was kind of cold.

What exactly do you want? Why are you so negative?

Now it's my fault for your inability to just answer a question and you resort to insults.

@Deplorably Nameless I have come to the conclusion some people are just here for attention. What was the plan? Was it "Bartman"?  Chuckle

In order to eliminate any vestige of ambiguity, let me rephrase my reply.

To wit: " that was a non answer". OK now?

Incorrect, it was an answer.

My happiness is irrelevant. But I did answer otherwise. And I did answer that I am "happy" that non violent people are not having violence thrust upon them anymore.

But they are still being maneuvered by large state powers on either side. However their using of force to resist one or the other now would be foolish would it not?
